I like the slow stuff. Normally suggests it's close and you get more for your money. Even on TV.

Half of the draw with Chinese players, & 2 will be in the semi finals….. despite the bans on 10 Chinese players a short while back!

Off to the final today, Judd Trump and Zhang Anda, then.

I know Zhang's played well and beat several decent players to get here, but can't see Trump not running away with it.

Predicting 9-3 to Trump.

5-3 Zhang after the early session... Trump needs to get the cue ball under control, he's had some epic mis-cues this session, and he's missed a few shots that you really shouldn't be missing in the final!

I hope he comes back refreshed and on his A game in the later session, but Zhang is looking pretty good at the moment.

Agreed, once Trump found his flow, he was well away.

Couple of outrageous flukes in the final frame as well, it ended more like an exhibition match than a final.

The flukes were after the match was won.

Trump always plays that type of shot after he has won a frame.

It didn't help much ,after Ronnie warmed up it was a whitewash of 6 in a row .

Frame 6 was a bit of a Ronnie wobble ,missed 2 easy enough reds but then so did McGill and Ronnie won easily .

& using a carbon fibre cue. Result suggests that lot didn't help much
Had a pal (many decades ago!) who used to rub chalk on his hand to make the cue run smoother.....maybe McGill suffers from excess sweaty hands!

A minute after posting that ,Trump missed a red ,then so did Jones ,Trump was back in and 5 minutes later they were all leaving the arena .

Jones was nowhere near the quality of world number 2 ranked Trump .
