I was playing snooker with a fellow PHer in Nottingham recently.
The only other active table was Mark Selby and Michael Holt practising for this tournament.
Selby is playing more like we were that day!

fk!! How did he miss that pink?

Selby was gifted that frame. So 12-11 Selby going into the final session.

Ronnie should have buried that last pink in his sleep. He did not enjoy that session at all

How much free advertising is this Steve Peters bloke getting?

Won't be much good if Ronnie crumbles mind you.

Here we go.

Ronnie may have some mental scars from that last session however Selby was shaking like a leaf on some shots. Reckon both players will be missing a few easy shots tonight.

I now know what attacking football fans meant when complaining about chelsea's tactics against Liverpool.

Selby is making me lose the will to live with his strategy here zzzzzzz

15-12 now... Ronnie needs to reboot asap if he's going to figure here!

Must admit though some of the play has been dull, often bordering on club level - but there have been some periods of spectacular play as well.

Why is the one not at the table forced to sit and look vacant - why can't they have a kindle or some word searches to keep them entertained?

I like Ronnie, but I hope Selby wins now.

You don't have to win every frame with 100+ breaks to play 'good' snooker!
It reminds me of a slightly lower team playing Real Madrid or Barcelona and defending like mad, preventing the more skilful players from doing their stuff while grinding out an advantage for themselves.
