Well we've got the boxing-style announcements. How about a pretty woman in a leotard walking around the table between frames with a board showing the frame number?

Some of the most exiciting snooker bits I;ve seen are when someone has grinded out 3 or 4 snookers to win back a frame.

Staying up late on the bank holiday monday is also one of the goods things about it.

The hardcore fans I am sure will like it as it is.

Obivously whether that should be overriden to attract new fans I don't know - personally i dont see huge numbers of people tuning in to snooker just because a few tweaks mean some matches may go faster.

Every time Selby looks like he is about to fall apart he manages to win a frame and every time Ding looks likely to win a frame he fks up this is going all the way

Funny that, don't you think?! smile

Not that I'm feeling at all cynical about the show that's being played out. wink

I wonder how much RW gets paid for that gig.

Dings really never recovered from that first session. Selby has played the right way for a 35 frame match.

I find Selby a decent balance of speed and technicality. Yes I prefer The Rocket clearing the table in one trip, but a technical battle is also good to watch.

I missed that. What were they showing? Steve Davis tribute?

Sorry if this has been asked before but why are they using Ding on the scoreboard and not his surname line they do for everyone else?

Well what do you suggest they do then? It's within the rules and a natural part of the professional game plus has been going on for decades. If you've got a short attention span then change channel every 30 seconds. That should sort you! wink
