Ding for the win this year. This is his final, if he beats Selby he wins it imo.

Or else we have a tedious bore, a journeyman and a .

I like Selby, his not the most amazing player to watch but he does get the job done and fair play to him for that.

Having said that, I'd be really pleased if Ding was to win it this year.
Agree with all of that, I always feel disappointed when Ronnie goes out because I enjoy watching the way he plays so much, so I'm cheering Ding on now.

my 90 year old Mother in Law thinks Selby will win or as she calls him "the Jester from Leicester".

John Virgo deserves a Knighthood for his commentary. I think he's brilliant.

(in as aggressive as tone as he can)

I read somewhere that Selby's practice room is set up like an office. All swivel chairs, fluorescent lighting and beige furniture. So when he is practicing he knows he's very much 'at work'.

Some scrappy play in this Hawkins v Highins match.

It looks like it will be a Selby-Higgins final, a repeat of the final 10 years ago. Hope Selby hammers Higgins.

If that's the final I'm hoping for some sort of divine intervention to stop it going ahead.

Well played Ding - last night's session was great viewing. After going 10-7 up I thought Selby would pull away and win comfortably but Ding had other ideas. smile

The other semi final on the other hand is pretty poor stuff - Hawkins keeps on handing Higgins chance after chance. And Higgins keeps on running out of position.

I have to say it is better than I thought it would be.
The standard of play is excellent from both players.

Crowd seem to be behind Ding. Once Selby is on the table and in clearance mode..he is ruthless.

Come on Ding! Loving the level of support he's getting from the crowd.

Hmm I suspect a final frame decider. What a match though from both men. Both deserve to win this match and the championship.
