Rage about BBC schedules being rearranged is as traditional as strawberries and cream. The internet will be in absolute meltdown if Evans doesn’t polish this off soon enough to affect Killing Eve.

Good to see the fun side of Serena, her meltdown when she swore to kill a line judge is just a bad memory.

What was Dan ranting and swearing about near the end of the match? I am guessing he was berating himself. He seemed very aggressive at that point which was a little disconcerting!

He played realy well but Sousa was able to maintain his cool and that is why he won in the end.

Enjoyed Andy and Serena's matching. What a mixed blessing for the other team though. Amazing chance to play on centre court with a full house but knowing your opponents are about the most formidable you are going to come across in mixed doubles!

Apparently they said when they learned Murray and Williams were teaming up 'it'd just be our luck if we draw them in the first round!'

why should a crowd be fair? ( not being terribly au fait with tennis).

Its just bad form in any sport to be over the top aggressive towards the person you dont support.

I don't watch much tennis but the crowds seem very restrained to me. More like snooker than football or rugby. I certainly haven't seen any aggression.

Apologies if this has been asked before..

Has anyone been to Wimbledon in the evening, possibly Tuesday in the second week. No ticket as yet, just wondering how much we can see. If we got there 6pm at the earliest?

Serena’s essay to Naomi Osaka releases today. The opening is a gem..

"Not only was a game taken from me but a defining, triumphant moment was taken from another player, something she should remember as one of the happiest memories in her long and successful career," the 37-year-old Williams wrote. "My heart broke."

She utterly collapsed today. Questions will be asked. She was naive to think otherwise and didn't handle it well.

I was embarrassed for her tbh - that's something she should have been prepared for, and given a stock, coached answer, as opposed to bringing yet more pressure on herself. Not a good day on or off court.

Strycova played very well but Konta didn't seem to adapt and couldn't hold her serve. The questions in the press conference could have been posed with a little more consideration but agree she should have a scripted stock response at the ready.

That doesn’t chime with what I saw and heard. He was asking if she’d learn from the (quite blatantly clear) errors she made today.

She accused him of patronising her, not sure how that was the case, and said she played her best and she’d continue to play the way she does.

In all honesty, if that is her best..............
