Blackpuddin - Critcise his play by all means but the comment re his girlfriend is really not appropriate tbh.

I’m sure the gf (well she’s his wife now) comments were said in jest.

Back to the tennis, what a masterclass by Federer tonight - amazing that he’s still playing like this at his age.

Well done Tsitsipas and also Thiem. It's been an amazing week and a great way to sign off this decade of tennis.

The beginning of the changing of the guard?
Unlikely we will see the long term dominance of the likes of the top 3 again. Will certainly make things less predictable.

I'm thinking yes, albeit the format does favour the young guys.

Two high profile doping bans announced today.

Nicolas Jarry ranked just in top 80

Robert Farah, doubles No.1 and reigning Wimbledon and US Open champion.

Add in the smoky stuff at AO, not a good day for tennis.

You mean not a good day for the guys that got caught?

Very good day for the rest of them...

I understand the lockdown rules, but I do wish they’d allow tennis courts to reopen...

Yes, sorely missing it. I say sorely, my tennis elbow has gone since I've stopped playing, so not sore at all. hehe

Same here, my lower back is back to normal and I no longer hobble around with strained soft tissue from my hips to my heels... Will I go back to punishing my body on the court as soon as I can? Yep

Looks like Novak's tournament was successful then - although probably not for the right reasons hehe

Yeah he’s not come out of that well.

An anti-taxer ignoring scientific advice. Who’d have thought...

Amazing comeback by Murray there.

2 sets down, facing match point and manages to pull it back.

Dodgy toes now by the look of it.
Loads of grunt and grit needed to get the win - really showed some of the old magic in key points towards the end. Remarkable spirit really, when he could easily stay at home, hang out with his family and count his money.
