Hope to see Murray out soon. A childish and petulant man, I cannot understand the love in for him. Could never lace Federer’s shoes, who behaves with total class and makes the game look beautiful.
So what have you achieved?Digger said:

So what have you achieved?Murray's still very short of match practice so writing him off now as a singles player might be a little premature IMO. However, he was nowhere near where he needs to be against Shapovalov yesterday and if he can't raise his level a fair bit higher than that I think he'll call it a day, at least where singles is concerned; when you've been at the very top - as Murray has - there can't be much attraction in scratching around just to make the top 50 in the world.
However, I do agree he could continue to play to a decent level in doubles and it would be good to see him do that if he decides he no longer wishes to continue with singles.

I agree. 115 grand for getting to R3 should soften the blow a bit though. However, I do agree he could continue to play to a decent level in doubles and it would be good to see him do that if he decides he no longer wishes to continue with singles.
