Yesterday's match was definitely the hardest one Raducanu had so far. In other matches she's been up before the Umpire called 'Time' all through the match and whilst she did do this through most of yesterdays match, she wasn't so quick towards the end of it - but that is understandable. It's been a great pressurising tactic without being aggressive.
She seems to have a lot of ball tosses which she aborts.. Although it was understandable in the last match, due to the sun.
So she's up against Sakkari... Not Pliskova! 20 straight points were won in that match by Sakkari!
I just feel that at the moment Raducanu is able to keep a really high and consistent level of playing going whereas the players she has faced seem a little erratic in their performance - they just don't seem to be able to maintain their level, but of course it's going to get harder the deeper and longer you go in a tournament.
Fingers crossed!

Agree, I'd suspect Sakkari should be within her capabilities based on what we've seen so far; but [presuming it is] Sabalenka would be on another level entirely.Either way a great run so far. Not sure I'll be up at 1.15am to watch it though..

I think she was a bit lucky against Bencic, in that Bencic's serving was pretty poor, particularly in the first set. It gave Emma time to settle and get back into the game with a few rallies before being too far behind, after her nervous start. If Bencic had a good service she might have been too far ahead for her to get back into the set/get some rallies going. But it's been a great run so far, and who knows where it will end tonight. Well I'm to watch it. Fernandez through in three against Sabalenko, and Sakkari very unsettled in the first set against ER and ER took it 6-1.
Early break in the second for ER and now 3-1 up.
One thing I've noticed is ER sees each game as a 'whole' - by that I mean she doesn't seem to get fazed if she goes 0-15 or even 0-30 down whereas, and especially obvious against Sakkari, many opponents do.
Sakkari serve struggling with her first serve throughout but ER has let off the pressure this last game by allowing a 15-40 lead go to let MS get only her 3rd game in the match...
...so ER takes her service game to love. 4-2.
Sakkari played her absolute best to try and claw back the defecit but ER serves for the match and takes it on the first match point.
6-1, 6-4. First qualifier in history, men or women, to make it to a Final of a Grand Slam....

ER calling out Tim Henham for a his help and guidance as well as an inspiration to her during her post match interview as well as her team and the LTA.
ER addressing the interviewers question about managing 'her expectation' by saying 'I'm a qualifier - there is no expectation'
ER hasn't dropped a set on the way to the Final, and she is the first British woman to reach a Grand Slam Final since Virginia Wade in 1977 at Wimbledon.
ER now number 32 in the world from 150 before qualifying, playing Leyla Fernandez who is now 27 in the world from 73 beforehand.
Navratilova suggesting that if ER and LF stay clear of injuries it could be the changing of the guard in Womens Tennis.
