Fashion stuff and celeb life will not be offered to her if she slips down the rankings.

I think she is very motivated to succeed, so we will see.
Quite so, one hit wonder? I don’t think so but the good life only really continues if you keep winning. I hope it’s a wake up call.

Decision to change a winning Team is a strange one. Wonder what went down. Money?

Thought the official line was that the coach was brought in specifically for the tournament and it was only ever intended to be a temporary arrangement.

But he did a good job to get her a slam title, would have worth keeping him on for a bit longer.

It would seem silly to change a winning formula. Thought I read he had a son playing Tennis and that was the main focus for coaching.

How on earth did he manage that? I watched the first set from when he was three nil up until he lost his way, lost his power in the rallys and lost all ambition to stand toe to toe against Alvarez and lost the first set. What did he do to win the next two sets?

Dan Evans was a set and a break up leading 4-2...

...then loses ten games in a row to lose the match confused

frown but I guess we've all been there and that's the part of sport when it's interesting.. It becomes almost a battle of minds or wills. I know you can't compare Darts to this - but basically 1 vs 1 and the power just ebbs and flows as someone tries a little harder or goes from being in the zone to not being in the zone.. Almost any sport where it's 1 vs 1 and it can be quite fascinating to watch, but unfortunately quite demoralising and tough at times if you're on the wrong side of the result.

Murray out of Indian Wells after a spirited fight against Zverev and also saying he'll rule himself out of the pre-Aussi Open Davis Cup as he's not good enough to make the team behind Norrie, Evans, Edmund and Broady, and perhaps to guard his health.

Leylah Fernandez also out of Indian Wells but she got through two rounds further than Raducanu - that said, she has a settled team and coach.

Norrie playing as I write and 5-2 up in the first set.

Norrie a set and a break up in the second. Impressive!

Think he'll jump to British No.1 if he wins this match.

Raducanu has dropped out of the Kremlin cup, not really sure why yet from what I can see.

Norrie now British number 1 followed by Evan, Edmund, Broady and then Murray.

ER has fallen out of the WTA top 20 to 23 and is likely to fall further now she's pulled out of the Kremlin Cup. I hope she finds a coach soon and gets back to match practice before the short close season.

It's starting to look a bit like 'wtf is she doing?' to me. I'm sure I'm wrong.

Fantastic win. This is the next tier down from a Grand Slam win and a fantastic achievement for Cameron Norrie - well done.

That was quite amazing by Norrie.
We all know he has great talent but where did he find that aggression and will to win.

ER should not have got rid of her coach, did she do it simply because she could now afford a top level coach?
Why change a winning formula and disrupt the routine? Poorly advised maybe?
