Fair points but I doubt either of them came back from two sets down as often as Murray has. And against much younger men too.
11 times for Murray I believe, nobody else has done that.

Must say I thought Andy was just competing latterly for the 2nd round exit money, but he still has the hunger, nearly 6 hours on court with a metal hip joint, hope his surgeon is watching.

Is his mum always at his overseas games, I think he does better when she is.

In don’t think its for the money, he has plenty, like Rafa he just enjoys playing. Watched it all, two sets down I thought oh well. The other guy (kyrios chum and currently AO doubles champion with him) was pretty handy too but Murray just took it up a few notches. Amazing stuff. The next match will also be a tough one. CMON!

You're right there, Murray has won from 2-0 down over 10 times I think!

Connors did get to the semi finals of the US Open in 1991 at the age of 39 as a wildcard. I remember reading about him shambling around on a drip after 1 victory. eek
Brilliant documentary called 'this is what they want' about that run of victories, such a driven man, he ruined Aaron Krickstein who was somewhat of his protégé before the tournament. Loved watching Connors and I just remember Nastase too!

Can anyone tell me where I can watch the Aus open? Couldn’t find it anywhere when I searched through the channels.

Hmmm when I was searching for the Murray match the other night it was only showing highlights. I’ll check again. Thanks smile

It's only live in the morning here - something to do with time zones. Live coverage starts at midnight UK time.

All looking a bit of a struggle for Murray today… hardly surprising unfortunately.

I don’t think he’s human, maybe it wasn’t just his hip they replaced and he is fully bionic!

Incredible effort from Murray, but always going to be a hard ask.

All credit to Agut, some remarkable tennis played there. Murray’s astonishing grit is something to behold.
