I think the 1st set was a write off due to nerves, but the second set was a vivid display of the gulf between top 100 and top 10 in womens game.

The top 10 are fitter, faster, can concentrate better and also know how to cut out the unforced errors.

It does seem strange people saying they were queuing for 6 hours because of the security checks. How does a jigsaw box not get checked, could have a bloody gun in there?!

That said, I suppose it's not illegal to have a Wimbledon themed jigsaw with you "Hoping to get it signed, sir" and probably shove the packet of orange confetti down their trousers, then put it in the box once you're in?

True and I assumed they bought the jigsaw inside the grounds but to enter one of the courts you have to pass a 'security' person at the entrance to the seating. With someone having pulled the stunt earlier they should have been more alert to anyone carrying a jigsaw box.
