Quick question on your CG if I may, is it steel proofed? I’m thinking as I’ll have this gun for a while, I’d like to future proof myself, as I can see a lead ban coming in at some point.

I'm guessing the pistol is some kind of air gun.

I’ll take a punt at a Falcon.

Will have to post a picture or 2 of mine after the weekend now I’ve spent most of lockdown 3 rebuilding them to a working state.

it’s a BSA ultra xl, nikka scope, mod, lamp, etc. good for rabbits

handgun is a glock... frown sadly it’s a webley tempest, which i used as a kid growing up. it’s maybe 40 years old. we used to set up courses round the garden with painted coke bottles hidden as targets, great fun

Anyone else just started using thermal spotters? Game changer for us. Bought a hti 35mm thermal monocular. Fabulous bit of kit. Ratting and foxing just got a lot better.
Also seen a whole new world of badger activity!

Funny you should mention that as only a couple of weeks ago, a good mate of mine was extolling the virtues of the one he has just bought for that very purpose.

Amazing how much you see going on at night that you'd normally miss. Seen badgers fighting in bushes, feral cats stalking mice etc. Owls in trees watching you! Not cheap at 800 quid but already proving it's worth.

Did anyone see the Blunderbuss on Antiques Roadshow yesterday?

It did make me wonder what the legality of it, along with the cross bow that fired a lead ball?
I am sure I read somewhere that the law was changing as criminals had started using old guns.
