When members of the peloton start questioning Aru's "illness" it starts to look really bad, especially if he goes out today and batters them all...

Well that was a bit good, this is shaping up to be an epic GT. All three contenders look super strong, bit of a rest day tomorrow for the overall contenders but will get a better insight on Saturday's stage - looks a real humdinger. Porte does look really good, however if I was him I would be slightly worried by the lack of in depth strength Sky have compared to Saxo and Astana.

Viviani punctured at the base of the climb which tok him away from supporting Porte, however it's fair to say that Sky are focusing on the TdF this year.

BBC reports that he's dislocated his shoulder but is feeling confident he can continue but will decide tomorrow.

Cycling News reporting it dislocated twice, once after the crash and then just before stepping onto the podium... eek

Bertie has signed on for today's stage, will be interesting to see if Astana try to apply some pressure today though fortunately for Bertie and Tinkoff, its not a particularly hilly stage though there is a lump 15 kms from the end which could see Aru and Porte try something though it looks like it will favour the likes Chava, Gilbert or Slagter

So much love for Petacchi getting in the mix!

I reckon I could cycle up that and look in similar shape to Sagan.

It might take me a little longer though.

I suspect I'd be even slower. On the bright side, that berk with the antlers on his head would be long gone. silly

Am i the only one watching The Giro with a raised eyebrow?

I'm prettty sure the UCI vowed to strip them of a license due to vast cheatery. Now, they're properly dominating the Giro. Feels wrong.
