MSR. How good was that?! Sagan is a beast, he can dominate this sport in the same way that others have done, sure he'll never win a GT but he could have already won LBL and MSR were it not for the fact his sprint is so strong now no one will g past him with less than 500 metres to go.... Flanders and Roubaix could be awesome...
As is usual, the race only started from the Cipressa; but Sagan is now the one everyone looks to, to ignite the race; just like the now retired Cancellara. Saying that, Kwiak doesn't seem to be fazed by going up against Sagan - and rode a clever finish.
How predictable that a lot of the newspapers have almost ignored this story - yet are quick to publish anything whenever Sky are seen in a bad light. Strade Bianchi, Paris-Nice and now Milan-SanRemo...quite a good early season for Sky......

As someone who has been a fan of cycling since the 60's I find it bizzare that so many good British cyclists went to the continent and came back due to the "Culture" which they would not join in but now the playing field is far more level and we are successful people outside of cycling want to damage the Sport. I've often wondered if "the culture" is actually a different way of saying "I'm sick of having my arse handed to me every weekend by some surly amateurs in Brittany, I'm off back to blighty where I'm something of a big deal in the East Lancashire road racing league...."
No I am talking of world class Cyclists Olympians and TDF riders . Of which we had half a dozen at best because the others were simply not good enough... my comment was only half in jest, I talk to riders in their late sixties now and some of the stories about big egos crossing the channel only to come back a year later muttering comments about "the culture" is amusing...

Plenty of Ego's did make there way across the Channel only to come back with their tales tucked firmly between their legs. The Post Tom Simpson era spawned many a "Johnny come lately".mcelliott said:
Some great racing in the Tour of Catalunya, Froome and the rest of the Sky team lost over 20 minutes today. Maybe they've seen that Wiggins is going to spill the beans, ha ha.
Yeah, it's great to see an upstanding rider like, er, Valv, leading the GC, I'm sure you'll agree.Long Drax said:
