Am I just looking in the wrong place, or are ITV effectively boycotting the Giro this year? I'm not much cop at working t'telly menu search thingy but I can't find an ITV highlights show or anyhting.
Giro highlights are on Quest at 20:00. ITV4 have been covering the TdY.
Took me ages to work it where they were! Coverage isn't great. Why is a triple jumper anchoring it? Could have got some at least with a passing interest in cycling. The pundits are dull as well. ITV coverage is usually good, even with Chris "no helmet wker" Boardman.
Jonathan Edwards has more than a passing interest in cycling?

There's a lot of Rapha CC gear going on there, can anyone ID his bike?

Yates looking very very good at the moment, puff daddy back to his pre Vuelta 2011 form, good riddance.

What a stage, If you are going to be in the lead for 30 seconds on a stage, make sure it's the last 30 seconds...

And make sure you are interviewed with lipstick on your cheek!

Yates the new great British hope? Outstanding ride.

Froome looked very mediocre.

The roads looked great for driving enthusiasts.

It is great to see another Brit riding well and looking in contention, it's also interesting that Yates, who's actually been banned for non compliance with TUE, gets a much better reception that Froome.

The organisers will be asking for their money back. Not sure Froome will get anywhere near the podium at this rate.

This is cycling, after all.

Remember the reception Virenque used to get in France?

TDF will be interesting this year.

Amazing how when things come to light, certain people don't perform so well.

He looks like a skeleton with a nose, and skin stretched over it, in a couple of the pics I've seen at least.

Which means he will be fast. I hope he goes all the way. Get on!

Amazing.

Froome's entire career is going to come under scrutiny now. The suspicion around drugs reaches a peak such that he can't fart without 20 people sniffing it and all of a sudden, his performance drops off.

To be fair, he was probably already under more scrutiny than any other athlete in any other sport.

Froome will be aiming to come into form for the TdF, like he always does.

I'm with the others on this thread who question the love for banned drugs cheat Yates and the hate for suspected drugs cheat Froome.

Is it because Yates is "proper" English? Or because he hasn't won a grand tour yet?

FWIW I like both the Yates brothers a lot and I'd love to see him win. I just don't hate Froome.

I don't hate Froome and I don't love Yates. I can be equally overawed by anyone of any nationality who does something impressive on a bike.

I think Froome's issue is that he, and his wife, have been strident in their views and not held back at having a pop at others and yet here we are with him looking twitchy as in front of the camera and pretty st on the bike.

We'll see how he is next month - I genuinely hope he's better.
