Pidcock making an impressive debut at the weekend. Third in the sprint yesterday against some much bigger (and experienced) riders. Impressive turn of speed for someone weighing less than 60kg. Big things on the horizon for this lad.
It was a seriously impressive weekend for Pidcock. I couldn't help thinking every time I saw him in the group that it looked like a young kid had ridden on to the course by mistake. Clearly nothing wrong with his legs though - his bridge across to the front group in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad was an incredible effort.

Indeed - I just looked up Caleb Ewen's details for comparison - Pidcock is TINY! WIll be great to see him on the high mountain climbs.

Junior World TT champion, Junior Roubaix, World Junior CX...he climbs well too, unsurprisingly given his TT credentials and low weight. Excited to see what’s coming.

Also the current MTB XCO U23 World Champion & E-MTB World Champion; like with MvdP, people tend not to mention his MTB prowess.

Wash your mouth out. Strade Bianche would be worth watching even if there were no riders on the route. You can’t say that about a grind through grotty Northern Europe with a finish in a semi-dilapidated concrete velodrome tongue out

I’m going all in on the Italian theme today

And I’m going to go out on a limb and call the win for Pidcock. Although it will probably be WvA.

Nice. I’ve got some Moretti and will order something Italian in to eat.

Was actually thinking of putting a little bit of money on Pidcock... will login and have a look at the odds.

My plan was to Zwift before the race but I’ve left myself with too little time now. Maybe after...

William Hill doesn’t seem to have any betting options for today, which is frustrating.

No, it doesn’t seem to be one they have betting on.

Needs to be a monument, then it would be covered...

Bike racing at it's best, that main group containing the who's who.
