Trott and Kenny are going to start running out of places to hang medals!!

Trott is the stand out for me, she is a different league from her opponents
Agreed - she just dominated everything, no one else was at the races,

Win at the expense of everything - and dressing up exploiting others misfortune (not their idiocy - their misfortune) in quasi-positive terms like 'opportunistic' seems to be the mantra in sport....and life in general really.

I don't like it terribly much. I acknowledge this means I am getting left behind - and so be it.

He's obviously tapped into the, erm, reserves.

Can't believe Yates. Gutted for him.
Yeah, would have been fabulous to see Yates win it.

Froome though... if he pulls this off it's one of the greatest rides of all time (assuming he is clean - well, cleanish).
In all honesty - I've given up wondering and just watch the fireworks.

He definitely has the stage and now TD has fallen off the back of the chase.....everyone in pursuit is behind Froome already

This is scarcely believable....

To be honest all former pro's should probably keep their heads down when opining on PEDs and who should and shouldn't be allowed anywhere smile

And soon the internet will be awash with amateur physiologists who fancy they know a thing or two interpreting it, taking it and using to to come to completely opposite conclusions to eachothers - which simply happen to coincide with what they want it to prove

I’m just amazed to find out that a punch from a world tour rider can be notably felt by the victim smile

Without a summit finish you'd say G will need to be content with his 1.59 lead over Dumoulin.

Unless he goes bang in a big way on the climb (unlikely) they aren't going to put big time into him on the run in, so Sky will be defensive all day long.

I really hope it all goes smoothly for G - there will be very, very few people not delighted to see him get a surprise Grand Tour under his belt!

I'm not one for heroes really, but I will be genuinely chuffed for him if he does - more so than anyone else. Just seems a nice lad and that is an underrated quality.

Agree re: Quitana

He was going to sweep all before him in 2013 - and he has done well, but people were expecting the next mega-star
