World Darts Championship at Ally Pally!

Watching Sportsday just now and more amusement value from the BDO side of things (although obviously not if you're one of the players).
Wayne Warren, who won, has revealed the BDO still haven't told him how much he'll earn from winning and he isn't even sure when (or if) the BDO are planning to pay him or any of the other players that took part.

I saw that Scott Mitchell has decided to try and qualify for the PDC tour in the next few weeks, because of the mess the BDO has got itself into.Wayne Warren, who won, has revealed the BDO still haven't told him how much he'll earn from winning and he isn't even sure when (or if) the BDO are planning to pay him or any of the other players that took part.

He's not the only one. Also saw that some people involved want Martin Adams to take over form Des Jacklin at the BDO which I think would be a good move as he is already saying sensible things such as that he would take the world championship back to the Lakeside and consider moving it so it doesn't come right after the PDC world championship. I think darts needs the BDO to survive alongside the PDC and I hope they sort the mess out that they are currently in.

Some good quality matches this year. Definitely the bes standard in a World Championship I've seen in years.
Fans are back for a couple of days, then back to silence. This will play out well for the less experienced. Nothing more nerve wracking then having 1000s behind you when youre not used to it. Expect some unknowns to go far and upset the regulars
