Without the fake noise can you imagine listening to that gurning pillock at every shot. It must have been a nightmare, but that's what Price does, and why many cannot stand the guy. He threw some amazing darts tonight. Shame he has to act like he does really.

Agree. But neither player was asked about the other. Price played out of his skin (apart from the missed doubles) and deserved to win.

Well done Price. He has been the best player all year. Where a lot off players have suffered from no crowd energy to feed off. He has thrived having no one giving him pelters.
Anderson always struggles against any one who doesn’t just get up and fast play with him( like Michael Smith and chizzy) this isn’t price’s fault. Although I wish some off the over the top gamesmanship was stopped because its even creeping into pub darts.

His gamesmanship is well known. You can say that you enjoy it but many don't think it has a place in the sport. He has so much talent and really doesn't need this in his game.

Anyway, a steady performance from Price to beat the two-time world champion and even better to see MvG knocked off his perch.

Clearly there’s some ongoing needle between them both as neither paid any credit at all to their opponents in the post match interviews.

It’s hard to see watching on television, and I don’t know if Price was doing any tonight but there is all sorts of other gamesmanship that goes on apart from the celebrations. Price isn’t the only one to do it tho.
He is off course now good enough to not do it.

Don’t get the hate for him, didnt do anything on the oche that many, many others have done in the past. Previously he has acted poorly but tonight I can’t see how anybody can have any complaints.

Yeah my only complaints against him have been in 2 or 3 matches in the past, nothing he's done this tournament (or even in the past year) has made me think he's a dick. I think it's part of his game to rile himself up and also put his opponents off a bit, giving himself the advantage, who wouldn't want that advantage?

Well deserved winner tonight, that one set with the 136 average was unreal and the finishing at double 20 where he hit 12 or 13 in a row was something else, it was like watching a film.
