Now that Ronnie appears to finally have sorted his mental issues out he's playing as well as he's ever done. Not many snooker players can maintain this kind of standard in their mid-late 30s. Hendry, White, Davis, Williams etc all declined pretty rapidly as they aged yet Ronnie (and possibly John 'I'm not corrupt, honest' Higgins) looks to have bucked that trend.
Wonder if Ronnie can match or better Hendry's World Championship record?
As for this final - Selby is the 'comeback king' however this gap will be too big for him here.
I'm sure if Ronnie plays like he did this week, then no records are safe.Wonder if Ronnie can match or better Hendry's World Championship record?

All down to his mental position ---and that's variable , or used to be .

Is it just me who thinks the commentators should stop making jokes when the crowd can hear in the arena?
As a player, I'd be a little peeved with outbursts of laughter every so often, especially as they have no idea it's coming.
I think they know where it's coming from, most seem to like it , it gives a bit of atmosphere. As a player, I'd be a little peeved with outbursts of laughter every so often, especially as they have no idea it's coming.
Haven't seen any look peeved.
