Some ridiculous shots, some luck, he'll certainly be missed. If you've got 12 mins.

Sad news.

"England and Nottinghamshire batsman James Taylor's career has been sadly brought to an end by a serious heart condition. Taylor originally withdrew from last week's fixture against Cambridge MCCU with what was believed to be a viral condition. However, specialist scans revealed yesterday that the 26-year-old has the very serious heart condition, ARVC (Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Arrhythmia)."

It is exceptionally sad. Only 26 and will have worked really hard to achieve what he has. Shame for the lad I hope the op is a success.

Sad news indeed but good that the condition was discovered before it was too late.

This indeed sad news, i hope he manages to stay in the game in some way or another.

He seemed to ooze enthusiasm & played in a way which was pleasant on the eye,

best wishes to him

Very sad for James Taylor. Only 26 years old. Only positive I can think of is that it was discovered before something serious happened.

Tony Cozier has died - another voice of cricket has gone.

I remember as a schoolkid first coming across Cozier on the radio and then a few years later when I finally saw him on tv I thought someone was having a laugh because I could not fathom the idea that a white guy could be speaking with such a thick Caribbean accent lol. Ah the innocence (or perhaps ignorance) of youth.

Missed the news about Tony, very, very, sad. Just heard them mention it on TMS. Will really miss his dulcet tones on the commentary. Apparently it's his funeral today. frown

RIP mon.
