Been YouTube browsing this evening and came across Emanuel Agustus. For someone with a passing interest in boxing, there's got to be some rather special skills to do that sort of thing and still win fights....

To be fair his record isn't great, lost or drew more than he won.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvSD10pHfFA
At the end of the day those shennanigans are all well and good when you're winning but they'll never impress the judges or the ref so you better win the fight out right or knock the guy out, and most seasoned pros aren't going to be sucked in or fall for it and unlike guys like Prince Naz, Ali or Roy Jones Jnr this guys actual boxing technique is seriously compromised, a few times in the vid he's hoping about on one leg.
I wouldn't judge how good of a fighter Augustus is based on his boxing record. Yes, he wasn't the best but he's probably the most robbed fighter I've ever watched when it comes to decisions going the wrong way. This is because he was badly managed and fought anyone and anywhere even when he was told not to. Eventually he became the guy that prospects would face knowing that unless he knocked them out, they would win a decision and they'd have a high profile name on their record.

Yeah same. Shocked when I read the headline on BBC sports. Hope its just talk and fades away after a week or so.

Been binge watching on boxing videos on YouTube last couple of days. Once you start it's very hard to stop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvSD10pHfFA
Looking forward to the boxing tonight- Buatsi mainly as it's his pro debut but also Okolie, Benn, Chamberlain etc.
Benn vs Collins- hope it doesn't happen, we don't need to see blokes in their mid 50's knocking lumps out of each other. It's a dangerous enough sport and no one wants to see people take risks they shouldn't.
