The **BOXING** thread Vol 2
Discussion
Roc Nation don't appear to have a lot of empathy for their fallen fighters. A sad tale, but lets hope more scans become mandatory in boxing.

so....the 2 greatest amateurs of all time ,....i can't wait....
4 olympic golds between them, 4 worlds golds between them and a combined amateur record of 871-13.....it's worth just pondering that number for a minute....at the absolute pinnacle of amateur boxing between them they have won the best part of 900 contests.
rigo's 475-12 is an outstanding number in it's own right but when you look at loma's 396-1 it's mind bending how these two have been to the ring facing all manner of movers/punchers/swarmers etc. etc. and have emerged victorious on pretty much all occasions

this will be fight of the year...or it ought to be
it will be like speed chess with gloves on. Rigo has clearly been working on catching Loma on the turn rather than when hes stood in front of him..
I wouldn't put money on either to win, but I'd edge the odds towards Loma based on youth and weight.
unlike may-pac both fighters actually come forwards so we shouldnt see a tom and jerry chase.

Nice weekend ....and midweek!!!!!.coming up ladies...
Excuse me!!! :/I wonder what chance Corcoran has of taking Horn out, two guys I don't know much about.
For me Lomachenko runs a ring around Rigo after the first couple of rounds, could be a bit of an embarrassment i suspect, Rigo is going to have to really spoil the fight to get near winning, unless he can find Loma still enough for a big punch - which i very much doubt.
Great to see degale back.
to be honest neither of them have fought anyone of note if you ignore the ghost of pacman...
larry ekundayo lost a split decision to corcoran a few months ago and said that horn has made a mistake picking gary as he is far better than he appears to be.
i thought horn boxed well against manny i've got to admit but i haven't spent much time watching either..
corcoran likes to come forward and covers up well...quite aggressive...but liam williams was able to drive him back and bust him up forcing him on the back foot...
i think horn does a similar job i think..late stoppage..
