Darch didn't last very long then...

Dubois could be coming along at just the right time for his career. He clearly needs a lot of rounds, but I think he might be able to make a name for himself

I've been following Dubois for a while. I know they say if you get it by a heavyweight you go down but his power is incredible. Bit wild tonight but he will go far.

Yarde...tell me more. Again looked like he was swinging for the knockout.

Dubois didn't really have to work too hard tonight. Apart from the first 20 secs of decent jabs from Darch it was a complete one sided affair.

I do feel like Dubois could be a real contender, in the future, and he has the time...

However, he did take a few blows, stands a bit square and didn't look that light on his feet in this fight. He also seems to continually throw that right when he's got the guy under pressure. Maybe he didn't need to do more in this fight.

I can't help but feel a 'better boxer' would punish some of this stuff though. But he's young, has plenty of time and is still learning his craft. Darch isn't exactly totally useless, having had a bit of a battle with Hughie, though Hughie doesn't seem to have that one punch knock out power.

Dubois could perhaps work that left jab a little more and have some patience as when things get a bit scrappy, I can see a smarter boxer get on the inside and punishing him.

This isn't going well...

Can't see the likes of Groves or Jnr getting sleepless nights!

He's inviting him, but then not catching him out.

James degale is a great boxer and seemingly a lovely bloke, he's also got a great chin and heart, i love him, but he does appear to be lacking something, not just here through his whole career. Inconsistent, his massive switching hitting has all but disappeared in the last few years and his jab is non existent.

Eubank, groves etc... Will be licking their lips.

I think Woodhall is being kind with that scorecard, I'd say Truax is about 2 up

Indeed, and if he thinks standing in the corner and countering is going to work - it isn't

KO required now then?

Well, a lack of industry, too defensive. To give credit to Truax, he came out and pushed him after those first few rounds.

Good.

I was supporting DGale in that fight but he lost that convincingly for me. I would have been upset at a different verdict. Fair play to Truax - he came to win.
