Contender series is coming back! This was a very good show I wonder what weight it will be at. Light middle could be a good shout, Liam Williams and Sam egginton in it from the UK would make for some real fan friendly fights.

And say BT/box nation pick it up they’d be the action sport channel then with Boxing, UFC, rugby, football etc dominating the schedule leave cricket, darts and golf to Sky then with the occasional AJ fight.
Be great to see this back!

That would be a super interesting fight if it happened, wards technique and ring iq vs wild wilder and his power, even with the difference in weight I think it would be close!

Wilder risk his AJ payday? makes no sense financially.

He has signed up as a commentator for Sky for the AJ Parker fight.

i can't confirm or deny anything wink

IF pricey fights povetkin on the undercard the winner has apparently been promised joshua fight is next.....so wilder against aj wouldn't be until early next year

Povetkin is AJ's mandatory though, and seeing as AJ would not give up a belt, Povetkin doesn't need to dance to Hearns tune.

I thought the offer to Povetkin was mainly to raise his profile in the UK so him against AJ later made more cash.

i THINK joshua would be allowed another voluntary after unification with parker but the fight against pricey effectively pushes povetkin up the queue (so long as he wins)....i'm not 100% sure tbh

In terms of pre-fight high-jinks, this is actually rather good!

Horrible pal.....

Did you know danny williams has just fought recently.....

Its not for me to say but when i see guys like tommy coyle showing obvious signs of damage signing for attritional wars against grinders like masher dodd....it does bother me.

Yeah, not good news at all, it really isn’t. Just had a look...Michael Sprott fought last month as well. Has lost his last seven on the bounce, six by KO...

Was that on another white collar show for Williams? He fought Hari Miles in one in a bit of a stinker luckily in a sense in 16oz gloves I think but apparently miles said he williams was asking for 10s......
