i didn't think smith/ brahemer was a ppv??...thought it was free to air?
Not certain, but I do recall seeing an advert to buy the stream of Groves vs Eubank for £16 or Groves/Eubank and Smith/Braehmer as a package for £20, so I'd have assumed it was PPV.

Just a thought...should Groves be ruled out for the final, I wonder if they'd let Braehmer back in as the substitute?
IIRC the Smith/Brahemer card is (was) £9.95 on ITV Box Office.

Just read that Andy Lee has retired. Always had a soft spot for him; was delighted to see him become a world champion and felt he was a tad unlucky to lose his belt to Billy Joe Saunders. By the sounds of it, he’s been struggling to get another big fight lined up so has called it quits. Fair play and best of luck to him in retirement...

ddon't know much about this sulecki kid who is fighting danny jacobs...seen a couple of eye catching knockouts and noticed he recently outpointed jack culcay...impressive result!...

he's 26-0 with 10 knockouts....doesn't sound a very big puncher BUT most of those knockouts have come in his recent fights suggesting he's found his power fairly recently....

i'll do a bit more digging but at this point seems like a lively opponent for jacobs

Was a little bit surprised by the announcement of Sulecki...I thought Spike O’Sullivan had been lined up?

Have had a quick look at the rankings and it’s interesting to see that while he’s #6 with the WBO for Billy Joe Saunders’ belt, his higher rankings - #4 with the IBF and #1 with the WBC - are down at Light-Middleweight. Sounds like Jacobs will be carrying a size advantage into the fight...

Frank Buglioni?! Looks like they were struggling to think of five. Having seen that maybe Eubank is not quite big enough to compete at Super-Middleweight, let's propose a fight up at Light-Heavy! silly

not any more pal they all ended up a haven for moronic racists with agendas.

i used to post as "daddy" back when secondsout had a lively forum back around 2000....was quite fun, there was this irish kid who was rabid about how eamon magee would wipe the floor with ricky hatton....this was ( in my opinion) hatton's best time....the hatton that fought tszyu was past prime for me but i digress....

anyway, this continual praise of all things magee was getting out of hand...i knew that hatton's inside work and angle changes up close would get the fight won but only after a few rocky moments along the way....the fight went pretty much as i said rather than the demolition job this irish kid insisted was coming ricky's way......it was like the kid's life was overlaugh he became ultra aggressive in posts to me at one point even offering to come to england to fight me .....absolutely hilarious...after that board closed i tried eastside for a bit but it's dreadful...even the guys in the classic forum, some of them writers and journalists - really knowledgeable guys about the old timers- ....man, it's bullst...it constantly descends into petty tit for tat bks that ruins potentially interesting debate and discussion about yesteryear...

i know mate..it's depressing!....there's a guy over in the supercar forum who has gone from ferrari( which were the best thing since sliced bread)...to lambo (which were the best thing since sliced bread) ..to macca's (which are....you've guessed it).....

fking nausiating levels of petty squabbling about who's car is fastest round the ring and all manner of horse st.....the gentleman in question seems to spend all his time on pistonheads alluding to his extensive wealth and bragging about his collection of mclaren cars...

Some slightly surprising noises coming from Eddie Hearn around Joshua's next opponent, should he beat Parker. He's been talking about Jarrell Miller in NY in the summer, assuming Miller gets past Duhaupas in April. Makes perfect sense in terms of helping build Joshua's profile in the US ahead of a fight with Wilder towards the end of the year...but it looked like the idea of getting Povetkin over to fight on the undercard of Joshua-Parker was to build the profile of the forthcoming WBA mandatory Joshua would have (again, assuming he doesn't lose to Parker), which seemed to be the aim for the summer...
