Love jamie andd his work ethic but inoue is looking like ......well,quite aptly, a monster!....i see a stoppage loss for jamie im afraid
I agree with you. Inoue is looking special at the moment and I'm just not sure how McDonnell deals with him.
Stating the obvious, I'd say to have any chance, McDonnell has to make the most of his 5'' height and reach advantage and keep out of range for as much of the fight as possible.

He's also got to try and stop Inoue getting into any kind of rhythm and his best chance of doing that - in conjunction with using his physical advantages - is with his workrate (thankfully, McDonnell's fitness is renowned). Keep peppering him with shots, don't give him a moment's peace, but stay mobile; a static target is something Inoue tends to deal with quite effectively!

I'm not saying he'll win but I think McDonnell presents issues for Inoue that he hasn't had to deal with before so it will be interesting to see how he copes/adapts.

Just caught the end something with Bellew on the radio the other day, sounded like he's calling out Tyson? Any truth in this?

Warren/Tyson arent keen yet it appears, far too early and a high risk of a loss.

Bellew wants it as massive payday and Tyson is not known for punching power so the perfect fight for him.

Could happen next year though. Warren won't want to risk the AJ payday so just depends on how well Fury is performing by then.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I know what he should do, but I don't think he has the ability to do it.

You're spot on though, if he plays matador and fights the perfect fight at range then that would be how he wins. I don't think he can do it but you never know!

there's a piece in this weeks boxing news written by a guy who has been out sparring inoue...says his power is unreal but it does fade over rounds. advice to jamie is keep it long and stay out of his way until the later rounds

Mind you, that does appear to be true love, She met him when he was fit and on top of the world, and stuck by him through the weight gain/jailtime and so on.

Imagine how much money Naz would make if he ever lost weight, could release a fitness video and all sorts.

well, in a frantic attempt to redeem myself and steer my post back on track i feel it necessary to point out that brummell was best pals with king george 4th......who was the pre-eminent patron and backer of the best boxers in the land ....as far as i'm aware the only king to date who's coronation's security was provided by 18 past/present bare knuckle champions headed up by gentleman john jacksonlaugh

happy now sweetheart?thumbupbiglaugh
