Murray should get his purse regardless - 8 months out of his life training for this fight and he's treated like this - disgraceful!
or if not money, the next fight with BJS after. I wouldn't go far as to say disgraceful, as you can't blame BJS for doing it if Warren has indeed got a contract coming from either GGG or Canelo. It's a huge opportunity that can't be missed regardless of impact on Murray, but Billy does need to make it right.

that's big money!!....actual la motta shorts are worth a fraction of that....you'd get duran's iconic "marlboro " logo from the first leonard fight for that!....
IF i had 30 grand burning a hole in my pocket...
something like this would hit my buttons...

i know i keep banging on about this daniyar yeleussinov....but worth noting he is fighting again on wednesday night's okolie/watkins bill..
I'll definitely be watching this bill - haven't seen this Yeleussinov guy fight yet, so that'll definitely be interesting. Also Luke's gonna have to step up for this Okolie fight. I've not been enamoured with his performances in the last couple of fights - wins yes, but not against the greatest of opposition.
It's going to be telling whether a better class of opponent brings out the best in him - I hope it does. My gut feeling is that he'll have a very tough night, but I hope I'm wrong!
looking forward to luke/lawrence you know!

We know you thought so, the rest of us are waiting for contracts to be signed! http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/anthony-joshua-vs-...

I would be surprised though, fighting anyone prior is a risk, no matter who, and a loss means a re-match and delays.Only Fury can make AJ more money potentially. Povetkin won't be a walkover for AJ, and Wilder can lose anytime. WBA inidcates it won't force their fight if Wilder is the opponent so the mandatory stuff is a smokescreen.
Very intersting how AJ is accepting less money for fighting in the UK, I am sure it is everything to do with supporting the UK fans and nothing to do with how favourable the ref and judges can be when you are not on home soil.

I'm all in favour of it.
I suppose the DAZN launch being in September may also be on Hearns mind, Wilder is aligned with Showtime but AJ is a free agent in the USA as will be Povetkin, so that would be a hell of a opening night for Eddie and get some DAZN subscriber numbers up rather than a joint PPV with Showtime where the Americans would likely go with what they know.

i'm pretty sure they will let this wilder/aj fight mature for a while yet....age it like a good cheese..but they won't leave it too long or it will fking stink
i note eddie hearn has said there is already not really enough time to promote the fight properly....
hey, i might be wrong here, after all hearn isn't exactly frank warren!....i'd still be well surprised if aj fights wilder next

I would bet on AJ winning against anyone, however with Wilder it is always 50-50 as (relatively speaking) he can't box and if he fails to KO then he is always open to losing on points. He isn't Manny or Floyd. Would be mistake of the century if AJ let a $50 million cheque get away.In other news- Vitali's Hall of Fame ceremony is end of this week.
"Mexican boxer Erik Morales, American boxer Ronald Wright, TV commentators Steve Albert and Jim Gray, promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl are among the other new members of the Hall of Fame who will also take part in the ceremony.
The legends of the world boxing Mike Tyson, Wladimir Klitschko, Riddick Bowe, Miguel Cotto, Marco Antonio Barrera, Kelly Pavlik, Antonio Tarver, Sergio Martinez, the Spinx brothers, Christy Martin, etc., will take part in the ceremony."

So is Fury going to splash him like Big Daddy or Giant Haystacks for the win then?
Wilder against Joshua I think Wilder might well win, but hoping Anthony does of course. Wilder is no mug. Unlike Big Big Fury
