What is the reason for not announcing the score at the end of each round?
To the poster who said De La Hoya is bent, I agree wholeheartedly, I had great respect for him when he was in the ring, but as a promoter, none at all.https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Be...

I had it 115-113 Golovkin, at the least it's a draw. So did the vast majority of media outlets, pro boxers, analysts and fans. Disgraceful.
From my view, Canelo started to retreat from round 6 onwards. Canelo went to the ropes for the first time in the 10th round and Golovkin noticeably hurt Canelo in rounds 10 and 11.
Fair play to Canelo for not going down, but he was rocked for sure on both occasions. At no point in the fight was Golovkin rocked by Canelo's power. I know that's only two rounds and results in those being a 10-9 for Golovkin, but it showed signs that Golovkin was hurting Canelo and he's vulnerable.
I had Golovkin winning rounds 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12. I couldn't separate them in rounds 6 and 9 so I gave Canelo the benefit of the doubt in those.
But, you can partly blame Golovkin's management team for accepting the terms and conditions of the rematch; he held all belts and should've told GBP/G 4 P and Canelo to jog on after the first fight. He should've moved on after Canelo failed the drug tests. These stick out for me:
1. Three American judges in Las Vegas
2. Held on Mexican Independence weekend
3. Bernard Hopkins is a co-owner of GBP and would loathe Golovkin to break his record of 20 world middleweight title defenses
No third fight. It's pointless. Golovkin will be 37-38 years old by then and now that Canelo has the belts there's no way there will be any room for negotiation. If it happens, it will be held in the US again with three American judges, with the same bent decision, plus a declining Golovkin. Sod that. We know Golovkin won the first fight and at the very least this was a Draw.
GGG should fight Saunders next and then retire. Canelo should fight Jacobs and get shown up.
GBP, Canelo and American judging have stained an undefeated European fighter's legacy once again. We seen it happen with Kovalev-Ward 1.
Golovkin is still the best middleweight in my eyes and will go down a Legend of the division, one of the very greatest, regardless. Screw corrupt American boxing. Golovkin, the people's champion.

He wasn't drunk. He was driving a Rolls Royce. He was just being a scumbag as usual.
Just seen it, ffs what a sanctimonious load of old cocks the British media are. I'd love to know what he's been charged with, I mean it's classless and stupid but I don't think it's a crime to behave like a 13 year old. The way the BBC sold it I thought it was some kind of donkey shagging orgy followed by a savage beating . Turns out its a couple of bell ends winding up a street walker. FredClogs said:

He offered to supply a drug addict with £150 worth of crack in exchange for punching a member of the public in the face after telling her guy was a paedophile, she accepts and slaps the guy.I am not sure how reporting that is sanctimonious.

Toying with an addict/vulnerable/at risk woman for his own amusement from the seat of his Rolls Royce.
Nothing strikes you as a bit distasteful about that?
And another one. Nothing strikes you as a bit distasteful about that?
The 3rd video to emerge, again immature stuff, but could be charged with impersonating a police officer, if plod take it badly.

I watched the drug video.
I'm no shrinking violet but I found that absolutely disgusting to watch.
Aside from him being in the public eye and a 'sportsman' who should really be maintaining a decent image, for anyone to be effectively exploiting and toying with a vulnerable (drug addict or not) person is totally wrong.
He deserves everything he gets. Absolute idiot of a man.

AJ two stones heavier at the weigh in. Surely Povetkin has no chance against that kind of deficit
It's the lightest he's been for a while though, which I think it's a good thing for him:Povetkin - 17st 8lbs
Parker – 17st 4lbs
Takam – 18st 2lbs
Klitschko – 17st 12lbs
Molina – 17st 11lbs

Deliberately announced on the day of AJs fight. Glad it's got a date finally, can't wait.
Wilder will almost certainly stop Fury ... I can't see it going any other way. I just find it incredible that a guy like him, with everything he has been through, self-inflicted or whatever, gets a chance to fight Wilder. Money talks I know, but as a contest, surely it shouldn't be that close ... are there no other up and coming heavyweights who deserve a chance more than him after 2-3 fights back against journeymen?
