Half way..

If AJ can weather the next few rounds it's his. AP should run out of puff.

Great finish. That was a decent performance, rode some major pressure, stayed strong and one blink. Like AJ of old, he's better at this lighter weight I think.

Seemed like AJ dialled in on him in Round 6 and figured it out.

Cod army... (that's one for Steve Gray, great refereeing as he caught Povetkin and stopped his head bouncing of the canvas. #Fleetwoodlegend)

There isn't a a human that's ever lived that could take AJs straight right on the button and stay standing.

Really nice touch in the ring there, AJ introduced Povetkin to his dad smile

I was pretty impressed.
It was boring, but calculated from AJ
The low jab encouraging an increasingly lower defence from AP.
Then bang the first big righthand did the job.

So... having aid my £20 I've had a look at this Russian chap. 39 years old, 6'2" vs 6'6", 15 3/4 stone vs 17st 2 lbs - is this a bit of a mis-match or am I missing something?
You underestimate Povetkin.

AJ is fighting not only what appears to be an invincible opponent, he is also fighting a very hostile crowd with the Russian premier and most of the politburo looking on.
Invincible? hehe How many times did Wlad put Povetkin down? Did Povetkin get past Wlad's jab? And that fight was in his home country too (Moscow).

Povetkin is a lot older now.

Fair play to AJ but just can’t seem to like him. The standard in the heavyweight division is shocking at the moment. Hope the Gypsy King or Wilder can step up the standard.

Technically AJ is not good but gets away with it due to his size and power.

And that Hearn can do one as well, smug prick.

Great performance by AJ

STOOD STRONG on early aggression from povetkin took the hard hits

Got the measure of him over next few rounds then really upped his game to KO a guy who doesn’t get KO’d

Very good prep and execution indeed by AJ McCracken and the camp

I really want to see him smash wilder and fury, no one can stop AJ fighting like this

Someone on TalkSport suggested it would be good for AJ to lose this by a knockout to see what he is made of in his next fight.
I think we know what he is made of he is simply awesome.
