What relevance is your opinion of this Aussie team to the question I asked?

Farrell was lucky, yes.

But once again the Aussies turn up at Twickenham and get beaten up. They really should stop whining and work out a way to toughen up.

Bit odd that Farrell's done it twice, he got away with it in more ways than one, but it doesn't look like a very effective technique, he was smashed.

He appears to have inherited Richie McCaw's invisibility cloak

Respect to Michael Hooper for putting the imbecile Sky interviewer in her place. Great contest, well played both teams. Cheika was not a happy man but when is he ever.

Terrific result from Wales to go 9 games unbeaten. Makes for an enthralling 6 nations, given the form of England and Ireland.

It made no difference to the end result and was a 50/50 call. Not sure it deserved the passive aggressive retort. Have a nice evening.

Chieka's tantrums always provide great comic relief hehe he wasn't happy when one of the newspapers published a cartoon of him as a clown though!

Hmm.

9 carefully selected opponents.

Well, for a start they didn't play New Zealand? (See note 1)

Note 1. It is intended to be a jocular remark. i.e. not to be taken too seriously. You know, like "a bit of fun". What we used to call 'banter'. Sorry if that wasn't clear from the outset.

I too love Chieka's tantrums, but on this occasion I think he was justified in feeling aggrieved.

I think Farrell would have been unlucky to have seen yellow for that. To me it looked as if he expected the ball to be passed and was drifting to the next attacker only at the last second realised he was going to have to take contact. His right arm does start to move but so late there is no chance of wrapping the attacker. All a bit accidental really.

Personally I don't think that 10 minutes of farrell off the pitch would have changed the result as the aussies didn't look on it. Probably missing pocock didn't help.

Indeed. I fear this might spell the end of Cheika's tenure though, which is bad news for Wales as we have them in our WC pool.

great player but never been a massive fan, but fair play he handled that interview with aplomb and the respect and disrespect it deserved

The Owen tackles this Autumn I think are two different beasts. The Bok tackles was a proper tackle with maximum impact and energy, his arm was obviously (to my eyes) coming round to make the tackle.

The Aus tackle though, well...that just looked to me like Owen cocked it up! It never looked like an intentional shoulder barge, nor was it much approaching a good tackle. I think he got himself into the wrong body position/angle and the line up was wrong.

Not so much bothered about whether it should be a penalty or yellow card or not, however, I am concerned with whether England have an "Owen F tackle technique problem". Two episodes of less than optimal tackle technique...I would be expecting that top class players are already thinking about how to exploit that, standing Owen up and using his poor technique against him.

Andy Farrell to take the Ireland job post WC. Good luck to him but for those of us on the English side of things this is proof positive of the staggering ineptitude at the RFU.

It was Eddie Jone's choice that Farrell be moved on. He felt there was a conflict of interests if father were to coach son

As it happens, the wrong decision. But not necessarily the fault of the RFU. For once.
