I wasn't name calling in the slightest. I'll happily point out what I considered to be delusional, it was this:
That wasn't my post so you're name calling the wrong guy! schmalex said:
With that England line up, if Wales play like they did last weekend they will get trounced.
Either Gatland has some kind of master plan to de-value Wales’ credibility ahead of Japan, or he is out of ideas

Not sure I was delusional to be honest. On paper, England fielded a strong side. They didn't turn up for the first half and paid the price against a fired up Welsh team. I would say Wales were the better side on the day, but they weren't really.
Wales's try was scored from a quick pen while Itoje was walking off yet England had 2 quick moves pulled back.
The high tackle on Itoje was monstrous and deserved a look at least
England were poor in the ground game and were generally overwhelmed when it got messy.
For me, Biggar deserved MotM but 0.5p was a very close second.
IMO Cokanasiga (sp?) doesn't deserve a place. You cant keep trying to run over people in today's game.
Ford was lacklustre the whole game.
Could Cipriani have made something? Possibly, but England are too formulaic and seem to be unable to think outside the box to change a game.

I don't think England were the stronger side (on paper) though. I would love to see you try and prove this!!!
Great to see Leigh back again, though he was obviously a bit rusty, what with missing his first penalty from 48 metres!
It was a scrappy game, intense but not good rugby in the slightest.
As with last week, the best team (on the day) won.
Wales were mighty in the first half and really dominated it. I was particularly pleased to see them kicking to the corner in the first 20 mins instead of taking the easy 3 points straight away.
However, on balance, I don’t think either side was strong but Wales took their chances better.
Both teams are going to have to up their games significantly if / when they come up against the All Blacks / SA in Japan.
For the record, if England do get knocked out in the WC and Wales continue, I shall be cheering for them as hard as I do the lads in White

Fairplay to Biggar in his response to JJ Williams. It's often hard to speak-out against some of the biggest legends in Welsh Rugby but the way he performed, the way he spoke and the way he has matured over the years (I remember the rugby brat days) say alot about Biggar's future in a post-AWJ future.

I don't understand why he got Man Of The Match!Correct me if I am wrong, did he miss a kick and go off early, and still get MOM?

Wainwright, AWJ and Ken Owens all put in outstanding performances yesterday but Biggar was the best player on the pitch by a margin. He went off 5 mins from the end but not sure why that should preclude him from being awarded MOTM? Correct me if I am wrong, did he miss a kick and go off early, and still get MOM?
Jones setting Wales up already:

Biggar admitted in post-match interview that becoming number one (or possibility of) distracted them last week. So Jones piling the pressure on already..

I don't think anyone had an "outstanding performance yesterday" - from either side, and I don't think Biggar was good enough to get MOTM.TheGreatSoprendo said:

Who would you have chosen? The Mad Monk said:
I think I would have sighed very heavily and said "Do you know what? I don't think I am going to award MOTM, because nobody deserves it".
You clearly have exceptionally high standards I'm just reading through the Sunday Times ratings. Biggar gets 9/10 and Wainwright, Owens, Jon Davies, Tom Francis, Jake Ball, AWJ, Watson and Lawes all get 8/10. I'd suggest that's a bit generous on Francis and Lawes, the latter mainly because he clearly isn't a back row, despite his outstanding tackling ability.

Managed to catch the game in a few Tenby pubs - oh the singing afterwards.
Was with the family so no beer but what an atmosphere
Maybe part of the explanation for Wales' perennial underperformance at World Cups is their willingness to celebrate like they've won A World Cup whenever they beat England? Was with the family so no beer but what an atmosphere
Could it be that to win a World Cup, Wales will need England to be the other finalists?
