Also hope we can avoid the London Irish banana skin this weekend!
Nice to hear LI being described as such, after being a guaranteed 5 pointer in previous seasons. I agree though, it's difficult to see the "real" London Irish right now though, it's a very new squad and newly returned to the Premiership They've not had a bad start, won convincingly, and just edged a game, been thrashed and just been edged as well. Which team are you going to get this weekend?

I suppose this is a reflection of the Premiership in general this season, traditional form (plus salary cap intervention) has made the league table right now look topsy turvy. Though Bristol have been very solid so far and deserve their current top space, so I can really only see one result on Sunday.

As a Bristol supporter, experience has taught me not to be complacent. Anyone can beat anyone on a good day it seems.

Rumor on the pro 14 forums is that Rory Best may sign for Bristol!

Are Bristol becoming the new Saracens?

Rory Best?

Kyle Sinkler?

Any one else?

Best isn't coming, wouldn't leave the family farm apparently. Sinkler is just a rumour. Bristol are always linked with anyone whose contract is up for renewal. salary cap wouldn't allow us to recruit all the players we are rumoured to be interested in. Agents always link us though.

There are a few Bristol supporters on here then!

The Bristol Post (whos rugby coverage is getting a lot better) have a decent article on the salary cap - https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-ne...

Basically we way under it at present, Luatua & Radradra to be marque players next season, C.Puitau to be in the cap, departing players to free up a load of cash (Madigan and Stirzaker?) and the rest of the squad picked up cheap or academy so not included.

I know most Welsh people don't like the regions, and that Ospreys are having a shocking season, but even so I'm stunned by just how few people are at the game against Racing!

Perhaps they all knew an Ospreys player would get red carded, and R92 would run in a cricket score in the second half?

Saracens v Munster

Bit of 'andbags. Question is - what did the medic say?

If it was a doctor he should be reported to the GMC. No place for rudeness or inflammatory comments from a doctor. Did his team a whole lot of good too, by the look of it laugh

Munster fans seem to think their medic said something about George's weight?

Any road, it gave Saracens the lift they needed!

Great Leinster performance again last night, and was especially pleased to see Frawley make his European debut with such conviction. He’s been talked up as a future Ireland no10, and on this basis I think it’s only a matter of time. Larmour ready to displace R Kearney in the 6 Nations as first choice FB IMO

I watched Doddie Wier, one more try yesterday, should be available on BBC iplayer. Well worth a look, even if it does make the room very dusty

Exeter match stopped for hail. Players off until for a while. Seen a few come off for weather over the years but this will impact other KO?

Edit. Only off for a short while. As you were.

Sounds like wasps should have won it at the end as well. Hopefully there’ll be some extended highlights.

Big match for Bath today at Irish. It's the sort of fixture that they need to start winning (pressure mounting from fans), but Irish looking good so far this year.
