Is the crowd sound played in the stadium, or dubbed into the TV feed?
Just the TV feed, I believe.

Shame the first game back was a bit dull. Hopefully something a bit mor exciting in today’s fare.

I hope they have a recording of the Bristol crowd in full voice. Last time I went to Saracens it was like a snooker match in comparison!

So the first crowds being allowed back are for Quins vs Bath on Saturday... They're only allowing 3,500 people in, and limited access to Quins Season Ticket holders, of whom there are around 9,500, with ticket allocations to be drawn by ballot.

The suspense is bloody killing me!!! eek

They're supposed to be emailing the results out today, and it's now almost 7pm! It's worse than waiting for bloody exam results! rofl

I suspect most teams will favour their season ticket holders. It’s a shame for the rest of us, but completely understandable given the financial commitment ST holders make.

Hope you get lucky.

Quins are informing people of the ballot results now, I've just bagged 2 tickets. Quite a few restrictions due to Covid, food/drinks delivered to your seats, tickets must be printed - so no use of season tickets, etc.

An interesting experiment but it will be good to see some live rugby again!

Three tickets for me and my boys! woohoo

It'll probably be my eldest's last visit, as the silly boy has decided oikball is better so I've not renewed his ticket for next season, so it'll be nice to at least have a last game with him. smile

I don't know if other clubs are the same, but Season Tickets make up around 9,500 out of the 14,000-ish capacity at the Stoop, so I suspect that with the current idiocy, it's going to be a long time before even we can all get in, let alone anyone else!

It'd be interesting to know how many people didn't renew though, as I suspect a fair few might have thought they'll wait and see what happens, and may not now get another chance for next season...

I think at the game last week at murrayfield it was only open to home Edinburgh season ticket holders and then only with home addresses within a certain distance of the ground. Is there a distance to stadium restriction for the English games?

How much for a pie and a pint at a rugby match?

£6?
£7?
£8?

More than a tenner, isn't it at HQ?

How much at your Premiership rugby ground?

I know it's not up to date, and it's footie, but it's the best I can do.

Lots at Sandy Park, can’t remember exactly. But then it’s a small price to put to know the club is relatively financially stable compared to some other clubs.

Seems Leinster is odds on favourite against Saracens this weekend. What's the thoughts? For me I think Saracens have a chance. Leinster haven't been challenged properly this season. Sarries have had this as a focus for months. Will be interesting!

Do this year's winners qualify for next year's competition?

Could Sarries, who will be in the Championship by then, play in next year's Champion's Cup?

My understanding was no, you can only play in the champions cup if you are playing in the top level leagues.

As a Sarries fan, its hard to say it but I think we are the underdog in this one.

Our 1st team form has been poor in the build up, we pretty much put out our likely team for the Leinster game against Wasps two weeks ago (at home) and they beat us fair and square. Some of our big names looked like deer in headlights...

Plus Owen lost his rag and got a ban, which doesn't help especially with our newish scrum halfs. They could do with Owen calling the shots beside them.

I suspect Goode will come up to 10 and Daley back to 15 which isn't a bad set up but it will be a tough test against an on form Leinster team.

I think you’re right on both counts; Sarries are both the underdogs and and it will be a very tough game but I have a sneaky feeling that they may just do it. I think Leinster have had an easy run to date (imagine an English team playing their 2nd string No10 in the Premiership final by choice?!) and May get a shock from a motivated Sarries team.

I think Daley will be at 13 but success will be more about the pack than the backs (is Mako fit?).

Hoping for a good game either way!

Mako's back.. and Wiggy too, so good news for us. We've got a pretty good line up going.

Hopefully they've remembered how to play together.

Bristol march on. Didn't think Dragons offered much after the initial stages. Bordeaux or Edinburgh next. Shame we are are not allowed in to see it!
