Anyone see the MoTM presentation at Leics v London Irish? Bit of niggle between Johnny May and George Ford. At first I thought it was banter but it seemed to continue as they walked off the pitch.

Cracking last 60min by Irish - if only they could play for the first 20!
I've got a bit of hope, things seem to be getting better on recent showings. However, watching the game, despite the score (27-28), Irish still look they are in the wrong division most of the time.

Still, a point against Leicester is a result of sorts, and as long as Worcester keep losing then that will be enough for this season.

Annoyingly, it's now Europe/Anglo Irish time which I always feel for clubs like LI, who need to just focus on the Premiership for survival, this is a time which disrupts the rhythm of the season. It's great to give the rest of the squad a run out, but when they come back for the Aviva Premiership games, when they can go in for the kill those teams depleated by Autumn Internationals, the team needs game time to re-gel again.

Should we be feeling sorry for Wasps, do we think?

The BT Sport commentators mentioned in the build up for the Sarries game that Dai Young can't have had to spend long on team selection, as he only had 23 fit players to choose from, and now they're facing a 5 day turnaround before playing Ulster.

On the face of it, pretty unfair, but on the other hand, Wasps chose to cut their squad numbers to pay higher wages to some players, so I'm not sure too much sympathy is due?

Other teams have had to deal with this before.
I don't feel sorry for them, surprised though.

Not really, injuries are an inevitable part f the game, and managing this is all part of his job. These are the options and gambles you take and make to be a successful team.

He’s made a few enemies with some of his sniping.
Some possibly justified and some most definitely not. Andy Goode nailed it with this.

I really don't think he was that popular before this - and Goodey is hardly shy and retiring!

He was interviewed towards the end of this morning's Today programme: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0977v1r

I'm not sure he will have won many more friends.

Hi guys does anyone have tickets for NZ Barbarians on Nov 4th? I got desperate and against better judgement bought a pair from viagogo. They arrived today (from the US??) and comparing them to tickets I have from autumn internationals I am not convinced they're genuine. I bought them to take my old man for his birthday so don't want to drag him there to then be turned away at the gate.

Has anyone got tickets and would they be good enough to send me a pic (pm) covering barcodes, seat numbers etc so I can compare?

Are the BaaBaas v ABs tickets at a premium?

May I ask how much you paid?

I can't see any reason why they should be at a premium, given that it hasn't sold out on Ticketmaster yet.

Granted, you can't get Lower or Middle tier on the half way line, but they both have availability on the 22, and there are seats all the way round in the Upper tier...

I don't know which availability plan you are looking at, but my one plan shows upper level all sold out except for South stand.

Tickets available in M8, which is as near as dammit on the halfway line @ £95.

If it works?..... Click on 'Overview'

I was looking at the main Ticketmaster website

Granted, some of those are going to be "Platinum" tickets at £200+, but certainly not all of them.

Quite strange.

L4 @£200
L9 @ £37.80

Can I say that I don't understand?

I am going to HQ tomorrow. I will call at the ticket office and see what they have to say.

The other thought that springs to mind is "why the fk do people tolerate the rip off RFU prices"????

I paid £56 to watch the England vs All Blacks game back in 2012, then they ramped up all the ticket prices for RWC in 2015, never put them down again, and it's more like £80+ now to see them play any half-decent opposition!

I used to go to at least a couple of the Six Nations games and one or two of the Autumn internationals. Now, I've got a Quins season ticket for not a lot more than that would cost, and I'll just watch the internationals on TV.

They were £95 face value, and I paid about 15% over for them, which I did not mind as they are half way up L26 so great spot, but then got whacked with a massive booking fee and delivery charge which was way way down in the Ts and Cs. I hadn't heard of any negative press with Viagogo when I booked, but it is all over google and they featured on Watchdog recently apparently.

My biggest concern is that I am not convinced they are real, and Viagogo aren't interested until you go and then get turned away which Im not willing to do with my elderly father.

If anyone has a real ticket to compare that would be really helpful.

May I ask why you didn't buy them through the, er, more normal channels, like England ticketing?

Via gogo have a presence in one of the tented villages so that people can pick up tickets that have been bought last minute. You could probably do with checking were that is.

stupid question time - have you thought about contacting Twicks to explain your concerns? One would have thought that they may be on the ball

I hope you don't mind if I ask why you didn't buy them direct from the RFU?

Heaven knows, they are dear enough anyway, but to add all those re-sellers fees, it just gets up my nose.
