Banahan did have a wry smile on his face as he walked off.
Not the first time he has had a wry grin on his face after being sent offhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5tE9S8uwj4

You had to feel for poor old Matt Banahan though... "Ah, good to see you're conscious again, Matt! Now I'm afraid I've got to give you a red card for knocking yourself out on Tyrone Green's head!"
that really is adding insult to injury. irocfan said:

Bath deal for Cipriani is confirmed, not too sure really. Could be great (he can be great) but will it last?
Now that's a shock - I'd heard he was pretty much nailed on for a final pay day in Japan JonChalk said:

Just glad that Tyrone Green bounced back up (can't recall the last time that a new player had such an instant impact).
Keeping to Quins alone, Marcus Smith and Louis Lynagh have both looked pretty decent straight out of the gates, and all the more impressive considering they came through the academy rather than from established first team play elsewhere. Also, as a signing from elsewhere, Will Evans has been immense!
Well Gloucester finally managed to play like a team yesterday, with a much improved attitude and approach.
If we can do it, then there’s hope for England yet.
Granted Baxter rested a few players, and Glos had May and LRZ back, but that was the first Glos game I’ve actually enjoyed watching this season.

Chiefs certainly rested a few!,
they only started 4 of the 15 players that beat Tigers the previous week, resting all their Six Nations stars, and giving debut starts and Prem debuts to several, including two academy lads whose squad photos are yet to be put on the official website.
Exeter certainly concentrating on Europe next week, which is all knock-out rugby.

I want Gloucester to succeed as much as the next man, but they still conceded almost 20 points at home to an Exeter B team.If we can do it, then there’s hope for England yet.

Leinster 16 - Munster 6; Pro14 champions for fourth season in a row. However, how it was only 10 points in the difference I’m not sure as Munster just didn’t seem to turn up, Coombes aside.
I feel something needs to change with them, whether it’s the coach or the playing style I’m not really sure, possibly both. There’s too many good players down there to not have won any silverware in a decade
Anyway, back into Europe next week...

I tried watching, and stopped when I lost the will to live. An appalling advert for a weak league.I feel something needs to change with them, whether it’s the coach or the playing style I’m not really sure, possibly both. Amazing spirit from Sale to beat Wasps. Four yellow cards and two periods down to thirteen!
Bath nearly did similar against London Irish, coming back to three points behind after being two reds and a yellow and down to twelve men at one point. Then Irish went down to thirteen for the last 7 minutes and nearly threw it away. Thankfully they held on for a win! Really enjoying Irish's performances this season, can't wait to get to Brenford to watch them. Possibly playoffs in May... (ah dammit said it now, it won't happen!)
