All Blacks - Barbarians game was quite entertaining I thought, anyone else watch it? Funny how many current, ex and probable future ABs were in the BaaBaas team, almost seemed like an NZ training session.
Was it some sort of Southern hemisphere Barbarians team? As far as I should see, the whole squad was Kiwis with just a couple of Aussies and Saffas?ninja-lewis said:

NH Clubs wouldn't release players outside the international window.ninja-lewis said:

Which I took to mean that the Quins players have it too easy. You could get more out of them.
Definitely: we've had the flash city boys - no backbone/dog - image since day 1. Some of us thought those days were past when Conor added some backbone & delivered a few years of trophies, but they haven't "pushed on". Jones plays the mind/motivational game exceptionally well. The Mad Monk said:
I do tend to agree about Kingston's appearance. Why has he taken to wearing a jacket and tie?
Interviews, hopefully...Who on earth came up with the absurd format for the Anglo-Welsh cup??
As things stand half way through the group stage, it's still perfectly possible that both Quins and Exeter could finish with four bonus point wins, which would result in one of them (realistically, Quins ) losing out on a semi-final place whilst a team in another pool goes through having only won two games! I can't imagine we'd ever see this stupid structure again if that does happen!
On a more positive note for Quins and England fans, it turns out that Marcus Smith, our new fly half wunderkind can put in a pretty decent cameo performance as a fly half as well when needed!

Philip Browne, the head of Irish rugby appears to have done a very good job of making himself look like a petulant toddler yesterday with his outburst of "Mummy, my friends Scotland and Wales didn't want to play the same game as me, and it's not fair because they're also Celtic so they're supposed to be my friends, Mummy!!!"
