I quite enjoyed that game as a neutral (veering slightly towards Tigers, because....well.....Sarries...).
Tough and challenging, not desperately exciting, but more interesting than the score would suggest.
Tigers had the better strategy, and a bit more variation to their game, that and making fewer mistakes was the difference for me.

It was a bit dusty here when this was happening

The right team won
Something is right with the world when Leicester are the champions. And I'm not a Leicester fan. 15-20 years ago I was a Sale season ticket holder, and remember a young scrum half called Wrigglesworth, as back up to Redpath. The right team won
Over the season Leicester proved they were the best, which in my opinion should be the best way to show who the best teams are.
I'm not a fan, and never will be of 'play offs' to decide champions. An off day, a dodgy decision from a ref can blow the whole season. I recall the first few seasons when Gloucester & Bath finished top, but Wasps won 'the final'. Ridiculous......
Why both rugby codes have gone down this road is disappointing - but probably brings in more ££££££

What an utter shambles England were today

Agreed to an extent, but at the same time, it's frustrating that the commentary team aren't giving any context at all.A 50 point pasting by 14 men. EJ really has lost the plot.
England obviously had no Leicester or Sarries players, and only 4 of the starting XV had more than 20 caps.
Against that, it seemed a little disingenuous to talk about the BaaBaas in this instance as a scratch side in the way we think of it, given that they had the entire French coaching team, over 100 French caps in the starting line-up with 2/3 of the starting XV either in the French squad or playing for a place in it, and George Kruis the only player in that XV who doesn't play their club rugby for one of just 6 Top 14 clubs.
