They are conveniently overlooking Manu Tuilagi's extended ban for a similar offence.

I would like to know exactly what happened TBH. That aside it does seem as if DC does have a problem with drink, that being the case it does make sense not to touch the fking stuff surely?

just watching the Yarpies cane the Argies but what does shock me is how empty the stadium is. I guess we'll only get a good reflection if this is an indication of SA falling out of love with rugby when we see Oz/NZ playing...

I totally agree. He's got what, another 5 or 6 years at the top level? After that he can drink himself senseless 24/7. It's surely not that great a sacrifice to make in exchange for his (presumably hefty) salary?

hehe

Seemed like the Aussies ran out of puff just as the ABs were settling into the game. I enjoyed watching it anyway.

She (and you) can be as disgruntled as she likes. IMO, a man physically assaulting a woman, leaving her scratched and bruised, is a , irrespective of her being in uniform or not.
The main difference in our point of view is that I feel the same about a bloke assaulting another bloke. Not necessary in a civilized society, and I don't see any reason for it to be more acceptable to assault about bloke than it is a woman

Fair enough, we are coming at this from different directions. smile

Further to DC, he allegedly said at one point during his arrest, "These wrists are gold. Loosen the cuffs."

Another DC - Danny Care - had his problems some time ago, but sorted himself out.

It can be done.

Seen a quote doing the round on social media - so no idea of it's true - but he is alledged to have said to the arresting officer "These wrists have gold in them, loosen the cuffs".

On another note, had anyone seen The Codebreakers? If not, it's worth catching on iPlayer. A look at Welsh players 'going North' and moving from union to league.

Jimmy Goperth out for 9 months ACL injury. Given his age is that it for him?

He's what, 35?

Tough to come back from an ACL at any time never mind that age.
