The other arm this time. You have to wonder if he's got brittle bones or something, to have had the misfortune of breaking them both. It's not all that common a rugby injury, after all.
Personally I think it's his devastating battering ram style. You don't get many players happy to run at others like he does. prand said:

Personally I think it's his devastating battering ram style. You don't get many players happy to run at others like he does. The Times rugby correspondents discussing the upcoming Autumn internationals think England will win 3 out of 4. I wish I had their confidence. SA might be understrength but I bet they still bring a tough game. Australian back row could murder our inexperience at the breakdown.
Injuries are a permanent fixture at this level in the modern game; coaches need a large reserve squad who have seen some international experience. It's Eddie's failing that despite huge resources he hasn't managed this yet Wales have. And Scotland are making the most of their scarce resources, and Ireland have a proper arrangement between the major clubs and the international team so that the centrally contracted team don't get overplayed. With revolving doors in the coaching staff who aren't even based in the country, I fear that England will continue to underperform.

That does have its own problems, though. It can't be much fun being a season ticket holder at one of the Irish provinces and never knowing if you're actually going to see any of your top players in a club game.Kermit power said:

Wife is a season ticket holder for Ulster, when the internationals are playing they lose their top players for weeks on end. It's great to see them being picked but frustrating when they play against non provincial teams that have different rules and are having to rely on inexperienced players from the Academy to make up the numbers. That's been compounded by the crazy injury list recently.Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
