From the Sun video, it doesnt show the start, but is does seem like one of the blokes tries to bottle one of them before Stokes gets involved.

That he keeps going after they've backed down will be his problem, he might go for fear of them smashing a bottle over his head if he turned his back, but who knows

I will be surprised if they drop him from the tour, even if convicted. Its all pretty minor handbags.

Disciplined, fired from the VC role, tour curfew etc, but dropped ? I don't see it.

That batting line up looks poor even with Stokes in it.

Malan I'm not that convinced about. As others have noted, Ballance has failed too many times. And Vince?

What has Hales done wrong? I'm pretty sure he can better 19.

At least Westley has been dropped (which I heard Gough moaning was unfair on the radio!).

I think we need to steel ourselves for this winter being a long one! We fannied around to much with the wrong people with the opening batsmen conundrum. I think now they need to shuffle the order round...and hope that Stoneman can up his game at no2.

Bowling looks OK to me. Though Gough was also moaning at Porter's exclusion (which, to be fair, seems a better moan than the Westley one).

I see Stokes and Hales have been effectively suspended on full pay whilst the investigations continue.
If Stokes is charged and convicted of ABH I should imagine that would preclude him from getting a visa for Australia, although I couldn't possibly see him being selected.
I have seen the video and if it is him (I'm certain it is) then he is a very silly boy indeed. This is much more than 'pedalogate'.

hehe

They seem to be picking photos where he looks a bit like he’s spoiling for a fight. I’m sure he doesn’t normally look so angry, especially at his own wedding.

Looks like a scene out of lock stock and 2 smoking barrels

That’s another nail in the coffin for my sky subscription, I think it’s just the F1 I watch on it now.

I cant see if anyone is showing highlights, although the timings dont really suit that. If channel 5 did that at 7pm, it would just hours before the next days play, although better than nothing

As an aside, I’m getting fed up with all these subscriptions for different sports and channels. You used to just need sky and you were sorted, now there’s BT, Netflix, amazon etc etc,

I just want to switch on my screen and have one remote and no fuss. You can see why people are just streaming stuff illegally. They don’t have room for all the remotes and can’t keep up with all the contracts.

Same here - we have gone from full satellite everything to no TV at all.

We have a netflix account which the kids watch a bit and if we want to watch something we either buy on Google or stream it from somewhere.

The money was one thing - but just trying to work out what time/channel a match was on was annoying.

Looking a bit worrying for England really.

If we lose many more, then perhaps Blowers will finally get the call

What is taking the police so long...

Bad times. Though I am not iverly bothered about Finn. Shame for him obviously. But je doesn't suit Aussie conditions in my view.

Is Wood fit yet ?

Good result vs CA XI - you can only beat the team in front of you. To have any Aussie team 7 down for just 25 runs is a good effort. We finished off the tail well this morning too.

I don’t think we are going down 5-0 this series. We’ll win one for sure, maybe two. We’re going to need a little help from the Aussies, but I think there is more brittleness there than may be popularly supposed. As always the local media will be a feature too. If we can avoid getting stuffed first up I think we will give them a fair fight.

Still think Cook is not scoring enough and has not done so for a while yet. I get the feeling he is playing on history.

Our #2 in fine form though, has he got less than 50 yet? Average must be very good.
