Nice one Charlie , I had a small stake antepost at 14.5 . Between that and medburn dream it’s been a good day.

One for the investec Oaks Forever together currently 16/1. This price will come down as there is very strong talk of this horse coming out. This was confirmed today at the Dante meeting by both pundits.

Im on this and then in the derby its self im on Hazapour for dermot Weald ew at 22/1
Thanks for this one Charlie, I'd completely forgotten but I put a little on Forever Together when you mentioned (though I only got 14-1)
Was a nice surprise when I just logged into Paddy!

Aftertiming of the highest order but i was too embarrassed to post up my picks after my Oaks blank.

Looking at the 2000 Guineas Saxon Warrior doesn't win decisively enough to be odds on today, besides that ,not raced 1m + and not at Epsom. Masar was 2000 Guineas 5/2 fav (finished 3rd) and i thought Roaring Lions would've gone closer if it hadn't hung left so badly.

I backed both EW, couldn't believe Masar was going off at 21.0 , wondered if it had lost a leg in the last month.

Sometimes i think Chapman et al are so desperate to have a wonder horse they become a bit blind and the hype becomes self perpetuating.

Farewell to Denman chaps frown

18yrs young and his health had been going downhill recently. Decision was taken to let him go before he really started to suffer.

Find it really quite sad and strange to consider those two legends of the Gold Cup only 10yrs ago to both have left us now frown

Gone but never forgotten Tank!

i remember that hennessy where the ground was a bit heavy and he destroyed the field from the front an absolute beast top weight as well iirc

i used to have the odd flutter back then - i'd include Exotic Dancer as well - totally differnet type of horse but won me a good few quid back then.

and Kauto was poetry in motion
