I'd actually misread that as 'jailbait' - then I realised he was a proper youngster! I suspect that this will be a baptism by fire!

Being half English and half Welsh the Six Nations always presents me with a problem.

I decided many years ago to support Wales first, but if they are not in with a chance I obviously get fully behind England.

For the first time I can remember (due to our injuries and their upping their game so much) I am now very worried about facing Scotland at home on Saturday!

I'm expecting the usual pattern of us coming out and playing blindingly before giving it away in the final 15 minutes! rolleyes

It will be interesting to see how he gets on against all of the Irish team,if he is given the room he likes to run and is quick.

Yep, he's been pretty hot for Bordeaux all season. I think Sexton will be too canny for him though.

Pretty much a 1st team England (barring injuries) when you consider Eddie's selection preferences...

I am surprised by that! But pleased!

Indeed - strong England side against relatively inexperienced Italy suggests a tough day for the Italians in Rome. Particularly with the tactics of last year now outlawed.

However - the Italians can be tough competitors

In the fantasy league, I’ve really struggled with Stockdale - I can’t justify putting him in this week but I do think he may be something special.

Ok. I am heading for Dublin for the Scotland game on the Friday morning before the the match, staying till the Sunday night. Basically I want to know the best places for a few pints of the black stuff, good singalong Ronnie Drew ,Christy Moore style. I’ve got my Dublin Pass and intend to use it to the full extent. I’m over the oap age and don’t need clubs and discos or whatever you call them now.
My wife and I will be staying in the centre and therefore require good pubs and restaurants. I’m more of a fish supper man myself so we don’t need any fancy food . Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Larry.

Everyone usually heads for Slattery's or The Bath for pre-match drinks as it's right beside the stadium. They'll be rammed but there's usually room outside.

Other option for before the match is Mary Macs or Paddy Cullen's in Ballsbridge, then about a 10 min walk down to the game. Should be a good atmosphere there

O'Donoghue's on Merrion Row do trad music in the evening and good Guinness, albeit it's nearly always busy. Doheny & Nesbitt's or Toner's close by are also worth a visit.

The Temple Bar pub does trad music too, but you're in tourist central in that area

Right in the centre (near Grafton St), Kehoes, McDaids and Davy Byrnes are good pubs. I quite like Sheehans too

If they're all rammed on rugby night, try the Ginger Man or the Lincoln Inn for a possibly quieter drink

Try Matt the Thresher for a good gastro pub for lunch or dinner, but you may need to book on rugby weekends

Enjoy!
