This.

Scotland are playing really well and bossing an average (but not terrible) England.

There were a fair number of mistakes by individual players which have cost us.

There was a lot of good possession from England but the brilliant defence, of which we are justifiable proud, was left in the tunnel.

Perhaps we won't kick into the middles distance in the second half.

Scotland are playing the way I excpected them to play against the Welsh. We’re playing as if we have some divine right to just turn up and win.

As I said earlier, I just cannot understand that tactic. It’s given Scotland confidence to play their own game. Scotland always come out of the traps fast, we should have kept it slow and grind the forwards. Why get sucked into a fast open game when that is Scotland Plan A, B and C?

Scotland have been good, no doubt

But from day 1 you are told - you can’t win without the ball.

We kicked away possession with no strategy from minute 1 - this gave them momentum

That will change in the second half - keep the ball and the bench will up our momentum

I hope

Ugh.

Not impressed with Care's passing and Brown has so little experience of passing the ball that he's st at it.

Scotland dominating the rucks and turning the ball over.

Sorry - I am half pissed and very annoyed.

I hope Eddie gives them the hairdryer.

However; credit to Scotland and Russell, who has been absent the last few games and has shown flashes of genius again today.

COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!

Fantastic Ireland v Wales game. Ireland deserved to win but it was a close call.

Scotland are off to a great start.

It's fine when you're protecting a 3 try lead, but today....... I think not.

Good post, but it's better to be very pissed and half annoyed.

Daglio is right - I'm sure he's pleased with my endorsement - but Scotland will come out with the same match plan. England will have to change.

Scotland are playing really well, almost flawlessly. By doing so, they have England flummoxed and disjointed. It isn't that England are playing badly at all, they are simply facing a Team having their best game so far in a very long time.

Rather than pretend I'm a wannabe-Expert like some, I'm enjoying the game even though I want England to win; this is good for Rugby and good for competition to have the Underdog come good. That said, now we'll see just how good this England side is - can they break down this Scottish side today?

biggrin

Having already listened to Glos throwaway a win in the last 2 seconds today, I started this game half pissed and very annoyed, so only one of those can get worse!!

Less than 4 minutes. That's what they needed to do.

Good try.

But what's this with turnovers in the ruck? It's never a good to leave the ball unprotected. Really basic stuff.

It’s because the modern game doesn’t want to commit players to the ruck - they look to be protected by the ref

But players need to recognize when the game has to change - and this is one of them

Bit of a st rule, if you hit the ball and it pops out during a tackle like Lawes - that shouldn't be a knock on.
