True but I think his best years are behind him - hasn't played that well in recent years especially away from home.

Any one see Rashid bowling Kohli... if that had been Shane Warne it would have been on every news report. Magic ball.

That's up there with the "Gatting delivery". Kohli looked completely baffled.

Morning Sports fans, another beauty from the ECB school of how to fk test cricket. Start on a Wednesday ! Brilliant.

Given how few test in recent times have been exciting five day finishes, Sunday look likely to be nothing happening. (if form continues)

Its frankly weird.

Anyway Keaton Jennings at the crease, a magnificent 24 average in tests and the latest recalled failed opener. although to be fair I think we should go full Aussie on the openers and tell them they are picked for 20 tests... then judge whether they are good enough or not.

Looking forward to seeing Kohli bat, he is probably the class act of test cricket right now. Hopefully this is the series where Root starts to look a bit more like a test captain and not the sub fielder.

Typical England. A good start gone to waste, will struggle to make 300 now.

We should play like a 1 day match, we score better number of runs!

A few of our batsmen were unlucky, but we were still on course for a decent score, then it seems that can't be arsed to concentrate kicks in again and we collapse.

I do hope Rashid puts runs on the board, then sticks two fingers up a Vaughan, who was great as a cricketer but likes nothing more than stir ste now he's in the media.

ETA, arse, Rashid just gone.

Our one day opener keeps wicket in test matches. Our one day wicket keeper plays as specialist batsman ....

Boom, Boom !

Well bowled Curran, good response, after it looked we were going to be on the end of a prolonged spell of chasing leather.

On a side note, anyone else in the ballot for world cup tickets ?
