Rashid in his 5 matches has bowled less overs than Moeen in his 2. What a complete farce his selection has been. Ed Smith and the England management really need to take a good look at themselves over this.
Root has no faith in rashid.
Root has a point. But doesn't the captain have a say in the squad any more?

India within 200 of the target, England still need 5 wickets. All three results still possible.

On course to sensationally lose this game. Feels a very different day to yesterday.

Great innings from Rahul -149.

Amazing ball from Rashid.

England should clean this up now.

That was an absolutely RIDICULOUS delivery!

Edit: And now Pant is gone - YES!

Out of nowhere, Rashid puts England back in the driving seat.

Wow, that ball was unplayable and unreadable!

Took a magic ball to get Rahul out. Turned a mile. Good move from Root to delay the new ball.

Must say, I have thoroughly enjoyed this good ol' biffing dished out by Rahul and Pant today. The atmosphere yesterday at the ground when Anderson was running in was immense. It would have been interesting to listen to the taunting voices from behind when these two were going today. smile

Last day of the tour, many previous Indian sides will have given up much earlier. I'm glad this side has refused to roll over and die. We'll learn!

We don't need any new form of cricket
Test cricket is unique and completely riveting

Even more fascinating than 50 or 20 overs

Superb series

Fantastic series from two top sides. Hat's off to all that played, going to miss Chef despite all the whinging on here.

India stuck it out today, I did consider that they had it in them but that ball from Rashid eek turned it all around.

Still not convinced about Stokes, bowling today was inconsistent and batting through series was poor.

Amazing series, played in such good humour and attitude. One can only hope that some youngsters newish to the game were guided through the intricacies, strategies and nuances of Test cricket.

Rashid, one problem with him and possibly explains fewer overs was perhaps the closeness of the matches. Not got many runs to play with? Then he isn't the bowler to put against class batsmen for over after over.

Fabulous test match, and been a great series. 4-1 against the number one test side.

Cook, gets a brilliant send off, and Jimmy takes the record.

Even more important, breakthrough series for Curran. I wonder if we will see Broad and Jimmy play together again.

Fair play to India, lots of positive for them, if Kohli learns how to review and they find another batsman, they will be very dangerous for a long while.

For all the romance of c Cook b Anderson for THAT wicket, as a quick there is simply no better statement than middle peg out of the ground!

The Burnley Lara. The greatest fast bowler in the history of Test cricket. He is so crap at 36 that his average just keeps going lower...

Glen McGrath has challenged Jimmy to get to 600

I wonder if he will do that and call it a day. he will be the greatest fast bowler for some time I think

At his current rate he'll probably get there by knocking over a few Aussies in next summer's Ashes. Which would be nice.
