It's not going to happen, but I would love to see Jaime Munguia vs Golovkin at 160lb.

Price wins by DQ after being bitten several times - disgraceful stuff from Kash Ali. Hopefully the last we see of him in a boxing ring.

I like big pricey, huge power but fragile, beaten by a series of drug cheats which ruined his confidence. Wish him well, Ali should serve a long ban by all accounts

Deary deary me.. First time and probably last time I see Ali in the ring!!

The DQ might be a blessing like for Pricey as he didn't look great.

Fitzgerald vs Fowler was a great tear up! Enjoyed that and right decision I thought. Could happily see a rematch of that one.

Scott Fitzgerald is a local lad to me, I'm not going to claim to know him but I used to see him working out as an amateur and I know of his reputation and heard people talk of him and his Dad in the highest regard, I was pretty certain he wouldn't roll over tonight and wish I'd taken a bet on it. Great fight.

Fowler v Fitzgerald was a good fight to watch, all action. Happy to see Fitzgerald win. Fowler talks a bit too much IMO.

i bet sky sports are fuming. they put all their eggs in hearn's basket and he's gone all "king's new clothes" on them!...the dazn platform and it's global reach across all sports means that it most likely going to be the dominant force in boxing over the forseable future.. i honestly can't crystal ball where all the cards will fall here...what's going to be very interesting is if wlad jumps back into the mix with his 3 fight deal with dazn being tabled....would he be capable of beating the rest of them at this advanced age?? he'd go through them all with the exception of joshua and fury..and they would be interesting fights... would make for a very interesting couple of years!
Wlad is a dull fighter (Emmanuel Steward killed him as an entertainer) who is old, hasn't fought in 2 years and is coming off the back of two loses. This is hardly the resume of a PPV draw.
well, that's a matter of personal taste mate....in terms of technical ability i'd rank him way up there and to me watching technical fighters operate is very interesting...the problem with being a gung ho knockout machine is that you leave yourself open to getting taken out yourself........paradoxically, having said that, he has one of the highest knockout percentages in the history of the entire sport.in a very long reign...i can think of 2 or 3 fights that you could quanify as "dul"l....out of, what, 70 fights!!??

his fight against joshua was one for the ages and to perform like that into your 40s is just incredible...

if wlad came out of retirement right now to face any one of joshua/fury/wilder it would be absolutely massive.
Wlad has already fought Joshua and Fury and I don't recall a clamer for a rematch. Does Wlad draw big PPV numbers if he's not fighting one of the big 3? He's last victory was against Jennings and that wasn't a PPV (and was bloody dull).

Do technical fighter generate big PPV? If they don't, which I suspect to be the case I can't see people offering him millions to get back into the ring.

Why would AJ or Fury face him? They have already beaten him once, a rematch probably won't generate as much cash as the first fight and if they lose they would severally damage their medium term earning potential. Much safer to avoid him while they slowly negotiate fighting each other for vast amounts of riches.

Would Wilder fight him? He's struggled with large, technical fighters before and his power just got him past Fury and Ortiz. Why would he roll that dice again if it would risk his potential fight against AJ or Fury?

I'll believe DAZN will offer him $40 to come back and get one of the big three to agree to fight him when I see it.
got to completely disagree on most of that...no clamour for rematches in the fury and joshua fights!!?? ... hearn was practically pleading with him to go again with aj ( the first fight has been the biggest fight of joshua's career so far , and by some margin) and klitschko's tv provider in europe were putting up massive money for the fury rematch..if you recall, that fight was a lock to happen and mainstream media globally was very interested in it as the first result was such a shock...mr. fury was the only reason that fight didn't take place

the jennings fight was a st fight, as was the chagaev fight...but i don't see the point here?... even ali had a few stinkers..nobody remembers them, they all remember foreman and frazier........all i can tell you is when wlad WASN'T a household name in britain i still recall him being an icon in mainland europe... when i used to watch his fights on eurosport over here he was a headline attraction very early on in his career....he dipped his toe into the uk market by destroying monte barret as chief support on a lennox lewis card in london but by the time we got into the early 2000s he was filling stadiums in europe every fight, never mind all the headliners in vegas and atlantic city in america despite him not being a massive name over there...

technical or not....most of his fights ended in a violent knockout... both pre and post steward..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiv2pk5n-CE

why would joshua or fury fight him again?...see my points above.. i agree with wilder..he wanted absolutely no part of wlad after he was sent home early from austria because he got completely cleaned out...he wasn't going to risk that green belt there for any money..

as to dazn offering him $40 mil plus a role as a dazn ambassador with a stake in the company going forward...it's been reported by multiple sources and denied by none so while the jury is still out all the rumours about canelo's and golovkin's deal proved true...

at this point to argue that he now ISN'T a global superstar rather than just huge in europe is way off the mark.....him against any of the other 3 is just as big a fight as any of the other 3 getting it on... don't forget fury/wilder only achieved 300k buys in the first fight... rematch is way bigger..why wouldn't a klitschko rematch with either fury or joshua right now exceed the heights of either of the first fights?...and by considerable margin i should wager too...
well, they parted with $120 million in the end for three fights...first one in kiev on 25th may!!!!!

Wow. Very big news. $120m. And I assume this is another deal directly with DAZN which doesn't directly involve Matchroom.

as far as i understand it, yes pal... i'm pretty sure K2 will have some rolled in sweeteners as well (loeffler has been quite bombastic of late) as dazn did for golovkin

Not a lot of time to get opponent into camp and the top guys are are already scheduled.

I'll not hold my breath but Whyte/Parker should be available

what worries me is Shannon Briggs applying for a license again....

Maybe Parker, there's no chance Kitschko is getting in the ring with someone as dangerous as Whyte for his first fight back though.

Certainly the case, he'll end up facing like Hughie Fury / Erkan Teper

I'm quite happy that Pricey just fought as I'm sure he would have been on the short list
