I think with Fury, you also need to turn a blind eye to any 'cutting edge' ways that all this weight may have been lost so fast. As im suprised that it has happened so quick, perhaps it was normal ways.

But they say a Keto diet is good for weight loss, and Wild Boar is good protein hehe

He is on the testing during camp so clean for this bit.
He's 6'9" and was massively overweight so it's not too difficult for him to ditch weight once he starts intense training. Apparently he is a very hard worker and very competitive in the gym so it doesn't really surprise me.

Dropping water weight quickly (ala Chavez Jr) thanks to illegal means is an entirely different thing. He's basically a weight bully and often ends up fighting people that he is naturally 2 divisions bigger than. This is outright dangerous.

Anyway, rightly or wrongly, I predict Fury gives him a boxing lesson if he turns up in fighting shape. Wilder does everything so fundamentally wrong that I just don't see him being able to set his feet and landing one of those equalisers. Fury will need to be 100% focused at all times because Wilder will be dangerous throughout the fight due to him throwing them bombs regardless of whether he thinks his opponent is in range. It's one of those that could undo Fury because throwing those shots with reckless abandon makes him unpredictable and dangerous.

Moore and Woodhall giving their analyses of the big fight with the old video screen and precontructions, interesting...

I'm with you on that, I can't see Wilder getting near Fury

The presser was a bloody joke too, but Tyson is the master of a wind up and I think he's in Wilders head big time

Just saw the press conference video, seems usual prefight hype to me, but BBC journalists claiming Wilder lost it for real and took a while to calm down.

There's certainly merit in what he's saying but this has precisely nothing to do with his fight with Fury. You have two of the best heavyweights going at it and that's all there really is to it. To mouth off and square up to a black reporter about it was unbelievably cringe worthy.

I've got a feeling Wilder is a bit wound up by the popularity Fury seems to have generated in the US, going on Rogans podcast and his back from the brink narrative etc...
Fury has made an effort to repeat that he's more recognised in the US than Wilder is... Against the backdrop of current US cultural tensions etc... Its got to grate on him.

Wilder was going nuts in the presser face to face with Fury "I'll knock you the fk out" repeatedly, Fury was really calm (sort of...he did strip off and want to fight)

Wilder has lost his nut!

both just working the script.

Fury will out move wilder until he tires and take a comfortable points victory home.

I refuse to watch these things anymore as they just poppycock.

When they match up in a prefight meeting and do not do that and talk the ins and outs of it all, then I will be up for it.

How come it is so close?

Wilder will marmalise Fury. I can only think the UK thinks Fury is a Wiley old fox. He is not.

He is a mangy old bulldog with no teeth.

When Wilder knocks him so far out of the ring at least he will not need a BA flight home to land back in the UK wink

4th round for me , Wilder knocks out Fury, then 1 hour of Fury talking some ste and Wilder talking some ste.....

I think AJ has the measure of them both and hopefully can get some traction in the sport compared to that cheating Mexican who wins due to eating burgers.

Apart from it being complete bks. He was bordering obese when he took the title in 2015. That was 265 odd. He looks like he gained about 50-60lb at his fattest and looking at him he was no 380lb! It's a made up story to make a few quid, sell a few papers and promote himself as this disciplined guru. He will get his ass handed to him in this fight.
No doubt the Fury weight loss stories are slightly exaggerated. It fits well with the 'road to redemption' narrative he is selling.

Looking past the hype, I believe Fury wins on Saturday. The main reason is, I don't think Wilder is actually elite level - his record is somewhat padded and against Ortiz he very nearly came up short.

Looking at oddchecker Wilder is the clear favourite. My prediction is Wilder will get tired in the later rounds, and Fury will stop him in the second half of the fight.

That's a funny clip - maybe a conversational view, but I thought it showed Wilder to be frustrated - he wanted someone to intimidate and bully so he picked on one of the youtube interviewers.

Fury has taken the lead in much of the promotion, he has been the bigger character, and has attracted the larger share of the publicity with his Joe Rogan style interviews and honest assessments of his mental health issues.

At times Wilder has been overshadowed, when no doubt he feels he should be the main event as WBC champion.

Wilder is going to be very aggressive for 3-4 rounds as a result, as he tries to assert his authority. Fury will move and jab, wait for him to tire, before applying pressure.

Have a look at the IFL interview with Okolie where he discussed sparring with Fury. Now Okolie is no world beater, but he was very clear that he had changed his view before and after sparring with Fury.

I also understand Wilder has a great knockout percentage, and has a powerful punch. But who apart from Ortiz has Wilder beat of any note? The lack of credible opponents is the main reason why Wilder doesn't have a great profile in the US.
