My prediction is Joyce will grind out a KO win over Ustinov.

We know Joyce lacks speed, guile, head movement etc etc. But personally, I don't think it will be Ustinov to expose those things.
Pretty much my feelings, a decent if relatively safe step up in class?

Taylor though should be able to jab and move all night, and finish him by KO in the later rounds, when Baranchyk gets tired. Unless he gets drawn into a scrap and gets careless....
I totally agree - he doesn't half like a tear up though, but I hope he can resist the temptation!

Inoue on first though - this should be a cracker.

Monster. Defies belief how hard that kid must hit. Speed and timing.

And....

About 20 second in and Joyce reminds me of his woeful technique all around

W8 - L0 and he's fighting this lump. He'd be KO'd in under a round by anybody with any ability whatsoever

Ustinov is a big, raw lump but usually durable. Joyce actually impressed me there, took the guy out where many havent. As Barry Jones memorably said, he just beat him up. One paced but steady pressure.

I don't buy into him at all, he's a pub fighter at times. His overhand right was missing by a mile at times, it's also so slow. Anybody who can punch and move will pick him off all night.

At heavyweight? There's only really Fury. I'm not saying Joyce is a contender but he's 8 pro fights into his career. (I know he's being on)

Was coming to post that Taylor was in for a long night but he's just knocked the kid down twice whilst I was typing...

He is slow, a work in progress for sure, but that was a good win at this stage in his career

Perhaps

But the next time he steps in the ring, labours that woeful/slow left jab low down - he's going to be sparked out. He's so open it's embarrassing

Saunders is a joy to watch, not his fault opponent appears levels below him. This is the kind of fight Saunders usually trips up in, turns up fat and unmotivated, looking good tonight

Totally agree with that

I didn't rate him much a few years ago but Saunders is really the real deal here - and he has been for a few bouts now

I don't think we can look at the number of fights, as he's much older than the typical 8 win fighter. I don't see him troubling any of the top guys at HW

Still thinking it was a good win, Ustinov doesn't usually fold like that. But I said earlier, I think Joyce is a level below dubois etc..

Yes, agreed. I'd like to see him fight Dubois or Gorman
