The Dark Destroyer back in the ring? He was great entertainment back in the day but this seems all a bit sad. Hope he does well though.

Just watching BT Sport boxing tonight waiting for Dubois, and just came across a very interesting young fighter.
Dennis McCann is only 18 and was fighting in his third pro fight, but he looks a massive talent. Of course his opposition was a journeyman, but nevertheless, he looked super.
Worth seeking out the fight on youtube when it gets uploaded tomorrow if you are interested in seeing a very young fighter at the start of his career who could go all the way.

Well I'm glad I waited for the Dubois fight... That wasn't a really a fair match at all
Yep. Was a poor "main event". I hadn't heard of Tetteh so looked at his ranking in Boxrec just before the fight started to see that he was nowhere. His record is the classic definition of a padded record. 19-0 sounds good until I realised it was built by beating no-hopers e.g. his last opponent before Dubois has suffered 7 straight knock-outs in a row and had a record of 5-16.

Hes obviously talented. Slaps a lot though with right hand (which I'm surprised at being an amateur champion). I'll wait till hes fighting better opponents, specifically non-amateur style, often the undoing of UK fighters. Thanks for bringing him to my (admittedly casual) attention though.

just watched Mike Tyson's '86-'88 highlights again for the first time in a few years. Wow. I still believe that fighter today would clean out today's heavyweight division.
Of course he would. The HW division is piss poor these days.Lewis and plenty of others would do the same.
Indeed! just watched it all at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UbrOc37Gjg
Both have very strong chin's, many a fighter wouldn't have survived that. If wasn't for round 11, could have been a draw, but don't think a rematch is needed.
I think like Jacobs did with GGG, Porter took away the invincible aura around Spence last night, and made him appear just human, and beatable.
Garcia up next for Spence.
Post fight conference got a bit silly, Porter easily winding up Spence for a rematch by questioning his popularity, and Spence's pride and ego is an easy target https://youtu.be/vE47DBm04kM?t=930
